I bought the notebook sleeve just to protect my laptop from being scratched when it's in my bag and it does the job perfectly. Don't expect it to protect your laptop from any drops.

I have just purchased this, given all the good reviews. However, the installation process stops at a certain point(when the application config. wizard should appear)with no indication of the problem. There are no onscreen prompts and no troubleshooting section in the manual to help diagnose the problem. The customer service is a farce. The email address for technical support is wrong; I couldn't log onto any of the support websites and the automated phone service is 'manned' by a robot. Buyer, be very aware.

For the sake of your wallet... don't buy this product. "Out of the box", I experienced the following problems: 1) requires multiple attempts to get your PC's USB port to recognise it. Thought it might have been my PC, so tested on two others with the same results. 2) User interface is painfully slow, to the point where you can make it permanently freeze if you scroll through the menus using the remote control. 3) Unit locks up after 10-15 minutes of use in slideshow mode. Not sure if it's temperature related, but I suspect it's software. Clearly, Hewlett Packard's software test team and quality assurance were on holiday when they brought this product to market. This does exactly the job it says it will. Easy to install on Vista and works straightaway with a Nokia 6300. Connects as soon as I walk in the door updating contacts and calendar dates. Excellent.

I have just taken my Freecom 320GB XXS out of its packaging and am amazed that so much power can be packed into such a tiny, well-designed unit. It really is an impressive little gadget. Very tactile in its protective sleeve and virtually silent in operation. With Mac OS X there's no set-up to do, you just plug it in, transfer the manuals into your documents folder, delete them from the Freecom (hope that was the right thing to do) and you're ready to go. There's one folder left on it called 'System Volume Information'. I'm not quite sure what that is so have left it on the HD just in case. On the packaging it says this tiny thing can store 215,000 Jpegs -amazing.

Well its a good webcam but my daughter records videos for you tube of her singing but the webcam does not work with windows movie maker which is a real shame but over all its an ok webcam. Its nothing great just a normal webcam that has an ok picture.
