Very nice camera indeed. Problem that other reviewer had is not on mine at all, the only possible thing is in bright light conditions, when you auto focus there is a bright line across the LCD but it does not affect shooting whatsoever. Been able to capture some stunning sunsets with this beast as well as using it's very nice macro function. Shots are clear and great quality, the new dial system on here makes life so much easier than having to have a sperate dial to choose which shoot mode you want, its all in one place! If you're looking for a camera with looks, quality of image, and is easy to use, this is the one you want. More pricey than some point and shoots but it's worth every penny!

This charger is clearly marketed as charging 4 2700mAh batteries in one hour. It doesn't. Despite Amazon's listing saying so, the instructions state 2 hours, which is how long it takes. Charger works fine, but if you want a one hour charger for 4 batteries, look elsewhere for one more honestly described...

I wasn't convinced that a single diagonal strap would be comfortable, but after a little adjusting it is surprising how well the system works. I bought the 300 at a guess, as the magazines don't give a real idea of the size of the various models. I have seen the 100 and it was far too small for my toys, so opted for the larger of the collection. It will take my Sony Alpha 700 and six lenses with ease. And the bag is wide enough to take the camera with my 500 mm lens attached - ideal for transporting all of the equipment as hand-luggage on flights as I can then get all of my lenses into one bag. Bought this camera as a replacement/addition to an older Olympus Mju400. The Olympus was fine but the flash tended to wash out subjects when used in low light conditions. Having researched the options I ultimately decided upon the f40d based on its flexibility and claimed excellent performance at higher ISO settings. Thus far I have been extremely impressed with this camera, I have mainly used it in Auto setting or the N setting (where flash is not made available so the ISO setting is changed to overcome lower light settings) and in both cases the results have been superb (even at ISO800). The N+ setting (where the same picture is taken with and without flash) is something of a gimic but does show up that in many cases the flash is not the best ... Read More:

I'm not a professional photographer but own a Canon 400D SLR. I was very disappointed with my landscape shots until I bought this beauty. As a hobbyist I wanted the lovely polarization of my outdoor shots but didn't want to break the bank to get it- this Hoya filter is perfect for that. Construction is sturdy, screws on easily, and adjusting it is smooth. For this little cash if you own a DSLR and take outdoor shots you need this in your life!

For a pocket camera, the features and results of this camera are astonishing. And for a camera that doesn't actually have a manual mode, it sure has a surprising number of options that give you extensive control over exposure and behaviour. My gripe is not with the camera, but with this particular bundle. Specifically, the Inov8 4-Gbyte Class 6 SDHC card supplied with this bundle is too slow for the camera. When recording video in wide-screen HD mode (one of the main reasons for buying a TZ5 over a TZ4), you've got between 5 and 50 seconds until recording stops because the card can't keep up. Took this great camera with me on several trips now to Egypt and Bonaire and although it is rated for use to a maximum depth of 10 meters is has been deeper with me without any problems. Battery life may vary but it is easy to use and has a clear display. Fits easily in the pocket of your BCD. Clip it to a D-ring because it will sink if you let it go. Overall good quality pics both above and under water. Love it and if I would lose it I would order another one before my next trip !

I regret buying this case as it is too small for the actual camera and you have terrible problems fighting to get the camera and its strap in and out. The case has its own strap. A better design would lay the camera across, rather than have to put it in on its side and would make use of the camera strap. Everytime you take the camera out, you are left with the problem of trying to hold the case.

Just a quick note: the lens is uncannily sharp. Really, A2 prints as sharp as anything I've taken ever.
