Just a quick review as I thought I needed to highlight this problem. Basically the camera is a great all rounder for the price, except for the screen outdoors. You can't see what's on it! Its not bright enough to see what you are doing and because there is no viewfinder on this camera. There is no alternative. You just have to point the camera in the general direction of your subject and hope you get it. This problem may also occur in similar priced camera's LCD screens.

I have to give this camera 5 stars because for my purposes it is perfect. Panasonic are one of the few manufacturers that make wide angle compacts...I can count on one hand the number of cameras currently available that go wider than 28mm, and to find one as tiny as this is amazing....the only other that I can think of is the Ricoh GX100, which is bigger and more expensive. The lens is excellent...it is sharp, the lack of distortion at wide angle is impressive, there is no real purple fringing and the vignetting is also minimal (darkening at the edges that occours with most lenses)...amazing really I only really use this camera in good light and the results are excellent...some say the sensor is noisy in low ... I would advise anyone who has a Tom Tom One XL to go out and buy a nice case in Asda or Tesco to protect their Satnav. This case might be nice with the XL logo on the front, but it does not give ultimate protection more than any other case would at half the cost. You can buy a leather case at that price, which I have done. It definitely needs protection from scratches and falls but be clever and get yourself a normal case even from Dixons otherwise for the same protection, you will be paying megabucks to advertise free for Tom Tom One XL!

The good thing about this camera is its size - it is extremely small and fits easily into a shirt pocket. This is a big plus if you want something that is portable. I was also quite impressed with the sound quality from this camera. However, overall I was disappointed with the camera - particularly in relation to the picture quality which I thought was very poor. I don't know how this camera compares to other cameras in this price range, but I had expected a crisper clearer image. I also found some of the controls on the camera rather small and fiddly to use. A good-sized compact camera that is small enough to put in a shirt pocket but has large enough controls to manipulate easily. The camera feels solid and the Zeiss lens seems very sharp, with the 2.5 inch screen being of a reasonable size. The 4x zoom is easy to operate and the quick zoom button is also quite useful. The wide-angle (30mm) capability was the feature that most attracted me to this camera and it works well, both for landscapes and for interior photography. With a capacity of 10 megapixels the camera should be able to cope with most projects and this resolution can be reduced for day-to-day snap taking. Kids getting PS3 for Christmas. Bought this cable to connect it up to a Sony HDTV. Decided to try it out to see if everything was working. Think of the disappointment on Christmas morning if i hadn't! Cable just wouldn't work. Went out and bought the original Sony PS3 HDMI cable and this worked first time. Don't buy this cable if you are looking for a reliable product that works.

I initially bought one of these for my mother for Christmas and on every visit she has it constantly showing a slideshow of the grandchildren. So I thought why not get one one myself? I know technology is progressing all the time, but this is a "must have" device. My holiday photos are constantly rotating through a slideshow in brilliant quality, it even plays movie files which is really handy and a clock, calender and alarm clock. Its not just me that likes it, every visitor to the house is really impressed. Highly recommended!!!

This is a great charger! I bought it to use for my xbox 360 wireless controllers as they were going through a lot of batteries and these last ages. It works out a lot cheaper to buy rechargeable batteries too. Highly recommended. Great buy.
