Just about everything has been said about the Canon G9 and there is not much that I can add to the recommendation for this camera especially as I have only had the camera a couple of weeks..and I am still putting it through its paces...I find there is nothing more pointless than a review which says..."I've had the camera for two days and it is brilliant"...only time and usage will tell ...but so far I find it more than satisfactory for my requirements.... This feedback is more about the excellent service provided by Amazon Itself..from whom I purchased the g9....I ordered at approx., 5.30pm one day..and with the express delivery service...my new toy arrived..Intact and well packaged.. before 9.45am the following day....very well done ... Absolutely fantastic. The best camera I have ever owned. I'm no professional, I wouldn't know what to do with a DSLR so whats the point. This is really easy to use and takes great pictures.

I purchased this bag for my Sony Alpha (at an unbelievably low price, I should add - thanks, Amazon!) and it was exactly what I needed - a smart, compact bag that I can sling over my shoulder and take anywhere. It is lightweight and compact, yet does exactly what it says on the tin - it will hold a DSLR with one or two lenses, plus any other small accessories such as filters, cards, cables, lens hoods or caps, etc. It's well-designed and ergonomic, with a soft well-padded interior, and comfortable to carry. It may not be big enough for a pro photographer who needs to carry everything but the kitchen sink on a regular basis, but for an average enthusiast's kit it's great. Highly recommended!

I have been using Mini DV tapes from a number of brands since I purchased my Panasonic NV GS-120 3CCD camcorder five years ago. After much experimenting the one brand and tape I now rely on is Sony's Premium Mini-DV tape. It is also very cheap when bundled together - per tape it works out at least half the price that supermarkets and other outlets charge.

We've built up a fair collection of SD and micro SD cards in our home now. These range from original 16MB SD cards which would have come with cameras years ago through 512MB, 1GB and this 4GB in full SD size, and 2 & 4GB cards in micro size for modern phones. The cards need to exchange data (pictures, music, documents, etc) with a range of PCs and laptops. We typically used a couple of external USB plug-in multi-slot card readers to adapt the cards for reading via USB slots. I will avoid a technical angle in this review as it has been admirably covered by previous buyers. I took the plunge and bought this camera late Sunday night and received it early Tuesday morning, which is excellent. The camera itself so far has been superb and gave me a superb days first shoot of 750 pictures. I had been using a Coolpix for two years and have been amazed at what it could do, but the D40 is superb. A previous reviewer stated that I would be delighted at how well the wide angle lens works, and they were right. I take a lot of action shots in Sports mode of myself and mates clay pigeon shooting, and on day 1 came home with action shots of shooters breaking clays. I purchased this camera about a week ago to replace my Canon S3. The Canon took great pictures but was a little bulky to just pop in my pocket so I was looking for something a little more compact but with a decent sized zoom. After reading a lot of reviews and looking at test pictures I decided to go for the TZ5. My initial thoughts on opening the box were favourable...although it is quite small it is a fairly weighty camera and feels well screwed together. I read the manual (briefly), charged the battery up, and proceeded to take a few "snaps".
