I bought this for my dad to view all his old slides, but I've used it more than he has. Take my advice. Get up the loft and dig out all those old slides. You'll be amazed what you'll find. Then you need to buy a decent transparency scanner. This was meant to be a cheap purchase and now it's going to cost me a fortune! ;-)

Having just purchased a new Sony compact camcorder (DCR-SR range) I wanted to get a case that was not an obvious thief magnet and offered quality affordable protection. With the price difference so little between genuine Sony and independent case manufacturers I decided to go with the genuine article. I have not had it long but it is well padded with a discrete small pocket, useful for a small battery or filter and the zips and clip seems good quality. When fully closed the top is very well protected with the sides zipped shut and an additional flap over the top. It would have to be very wet indeed to ingress water into the fully closed case. I'm useless at looking after things. I have had numerous flash drives and broken them all. This I heard was very strong and can withstand 2000lbs of weight. Quite impressive as a statistic, but it can with stand being dropped quite easily without even looking like it will break. The usb part is retractable, so is even more protected. It is a fantastic device made by sandisk, very reliable, but even more, very well priced :D

This is the natural partner for the 18-55 lens that came as kit with the body. The lens is not actually 100% plastic as most of the people states, it is in part made by plastic, but the part that attacches to the camera body is painted alluminium, it looks and weights like plastic but is metal! The IS is amazing, and the lens very sharp, even at 250mm... once attached to your body, the only limit is your creativity. this is the best zoom lens around for a cheap budget if you own as EOS camera. Best Lens 195 pounds can buy.

I bought this bag abput four months ago to go with my new Fuji S5700 camera for my trip abroad. A brillint choice! Why? Well: 1) The price: far cheaper than the recommended Fuji camera case - a soft camera sleeve. 2) Carry options: Unlike the other case, this comes with handle, shoulder strap and belt loops (though I've not used them). When being carried on the shoulder strap in sits comfortably at the side. 3) Storage: A small zipped mesh pocket inside the lid (I use mine to keep a lens cloth), and a very spacious front pocket. The front pocket kept my mini-tripod, spare set of batteries, spare memory cards and had space to spare; has two mesh pockets to help keep things tidy. Most importantly, the user experience. ... I am pleased with the camera itself but didn't appreciate that delivery was from the Netherlands. As such, the instructions, which appear comprehensive, come in 4 languages but none of them are English. In addition, the battery charger power lead comes with a european pin plug. A UK plug was enclosed but you either need to change the plug yourself or use an adaptor. None of this was apparent when I ordered the camera and whilst not a serious problem, it was certainly frustrating.

The picture quality of this product is OK but the software is staggeringly poor- there is no option to play photos at random or to resume where you last were. The result is that it insists on starting with the same photo in a slide show and then following the same order every time- unless you have it running 24 hours, you'll never get to the last photos in the list. For me these faults mean it's not really worth having.

Though this is quite expensive, I purchased it to go with my Sony - DCR-SR35 Camcorder. Fully charged, this battery gives over 700 minutes of recording/playback. This is great for holidays - meant that I didn't have to recharge it once over a 2 week trip.
