Another great purchase from amazon , does exactly what it says on the tin. Quick 1 hour charge for AA and AAA batteries, and the AA ones supplied held that charge much better than i thought it would and probably comparable to good alkaline batteries. Should save me some money now as i do go through a lot of batteries. Good price too.

I was attracted to this photo frame by the previous reviews. I added some photos to the frame, as this was going to be a present for someone who is not very technically minded. I found the frame very easy to use, quite intuitive really - this point is important as the instructions are very poor. However, I was very disappointed by the quality of the playback. I know this frame is not meant to be high resolution, but the grainy quality of the images was very poor, especially when compared to the HP frame that I bought at the same time.

I have owned one of these for 18 months. In that time it has broken twice, on both occasions the lens was mounted on the camera and reasonably protected, and I am anything but an action photographer. After the most recent failure Nikon are quoting £130 to fix it, so I think I'm going to call it a day on this particular model. When it was working the image quality was good enough; that is to say it had a number of limitations (fairly widely reviewed) but in most cases images can be fixed by post processing by DX-Pro or similar. The VR kind-of-works, as someone said it's a good way of getting images of blurred sportsmen running across razor sharp grass. It is a good price mind, and perhaps I have been unlucky but it is very flimsy.

The addage "you get what you pay for" applies to everything in life but just occasionally there is an exception. This little camera is a gem if you buy it in the knowledge that it is the cheapest dv out there! Picture quality is no worse than my older Panasonic which in its day would have cost several times more than this one. There are lots of advanced features missing or not easy to use. A backlight control springs to mind. It's there but buried under a few levels of menus. Most cameras have a separate button as when you need it, you need it instantly. I own a Nikon D300 dslr which I use semi professionally, an ixus 960 IS as a small carry around, and recently acquired a G10. I shan't reiterate all its assets as that's already been done by other reviewers. I'd like to add however, that having previously owned the G7 and the G9, that this is beyond a shadow of doubt the finest G series compact that Canon have ever made. It's not perfect. No small camera can be, because the sensor size limits that. So the caveat is this. Use the G10 at its lowest iso setting, with a pocketable mini tripod where necessary, and you won't tell the difference between an A3+ print produced with a pro dslr and the G10. This is a great little set of 3 filters; UV, polariser and flourescent filters in a nice little case to keep them together. These fit perfectly onto the Nikon D40 with a Nikon 18-55 kit lens and also the Nikkor 55-200 VR lens too & the case is handy for putting them in the big bag so they don't get ruined. They give good results if used in the appropriate manner - I have no complaints!

Like a previous reviewer I did not buy this camera through the Amazon marketplace simply because I was lucky enough to benefit from a huge discount from Panasonic, so bought it direct from them. This did mean that the price comparator made it very attractive and for me placed it in the same bracket as top of the range point and shooters. I was looking for a camera that had manual features but could also accompany us on a night out, or on holiday, and allow my non-techie partner to easily use. It is beautifully made and has a hefty quality 'German' feel in the hand. There being no black models in stock, I opted for the silver finish which now I have it I think has the edge on the black. Love it! love it!!! This is my hubby's birthday gift to me! I love it,very slim and cool!! If u love taking picture on the go, but hates big camera, this is the one! that always on ur handbag, eventhough u can use ur mobile by taking pictures but the quality of photos of this sony cybershot T700 is very good, well, it's sony.
