Well I was a little hesitant at first, but once the semitonic filtration chamber reached three quarters capacity it worked a treat. No snaps, crackles pops or parity occlusions. As the previous reviewer mentioned the oil draining facility only adds to the sonic transparency. Clever? I think so..

As stated in the other review, this is NOT a genuine Nikon battery. However it does work fine as a battery in any Nikon camera that takes an EN-EL9 battery. Amazon wont let me state that these are available at other prices elsewhere!

This lense feels well built and is compact enough to fit into almost any kit bag. It performs well when used for portrait work and is a worthwhile purchase for that use, although it has limited application for anything else. For the price, give it a go, you will produce enough good shots to make it well worth the investment.

Bought the S1000fd & this case recently as, according to the Fuji website, the case was made for the camera. Amazon has no picture of the case so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it fits very snugly, which I like as you can then put the camera & case into a backpack or another bag. I currently have 4 batteries & a memory card in the case as well. The case doesn't come with it's own strap because the camera does and once this is fitted to the camera it very neatly slides to the back and the case and the cover fits over the front & sides. Not disappointed at all. Very pleased I bought both.
