Exasperated with numerous ipod failings (I have owned 4- and every one has messed up in one way or another), I turned to this after some good reviews. This was 2 or 3 years ago and it has not let me down once. It has survived numerous batterings, the writing has come off, and the screen might be a bit cracked, but it still powers on. Easy and user friendly, I will be looking for the next generation of Archos players if this ever packs it in!

I have never purchased anything I've been 100% happy with because usually expectation, time, faults etc. remind me that things are here to be enjoyed and not to last. Thats until now. I spent far to much time looking into which pmp to get and I lucked out with the A2, its followed me around the world, stored my photo's, books, music, course-work, movies and never once complained. I was never caught short with battery life and the only reason I'm buying another player is I've filled the 30Gb. For a bit of metal I am surprisingly attached it..
