I recently bought a spindle of 50 of these DVDs and have used about half of them and not one has failed so far. Unless all the dodgy ones are clumped together at the bottom of the spindle they would seem to be as good as it gets at a very good price. I have used Verbatim CDs and DVDs for quite some time and have not had any problems with them. Maybe the reviewer with the high failure rate should look at his hardware as another reviewer suggested.

I`ll tell you why because I was THAT pleased with it, having purchased my DVD HD From John Lewis, and having previously paid THE EARTH for a HDMI cable for my "other" setup from them, I thought AMAZON ! I ordered the 1 metre cable, the quality is excellent, and the picture superb. Dont hesitate to purchase you will not be dissapointed, delivery was was next day. * Highly recommended *

Having had a considerable amount of trouble finding replacement headphones for my iPod these seemed worth a try. Good bass sound - considerably better than the last pair I tried - but after only half an hour of listening I couldn't wait to take them out.

Having had an Ipod classic which stopped working after just 15 months and then a 'refurbished' version which lasted not quite a year I tried to dissuade my son from purchasing another Ipod. Won over, however, by its style and the new 'touch' gadgets I was over ruled and a 16gb Touch was purchased in September. Yesterday, after less than 2 months, it has given up the ghost - broken - won't even switch on! Why oh why do people buy these things - they are not built to last - please don't be swayed by the looks and gadgets - and if you do buy make sure you take out some sort of breakdown insurance - you are sure to need it!!

The sound is good and the microphone is easily adjustable and works well. It's huge problem is that it's very fragile. My one broke after a few months without any accidents.

I ordered these on sunday night and the fast delivery, appreciative note and quality of the earphones is amazing. The sound quality is excellent, very loud and clear (ideal for use in crowded or noisy places) and the colour of them is so vibrant and funky. At a cheap price these are great and I highly recommend them.

I my self use QED cables, but my friend don't want to spend crazy money like I'd on QED's. So we bought this cable and found no issues what so ever. (Bought 1.2m and 2.4m) Blu-ray though PS3 shows 1080p/24 on Sammy! Will recommend this to anyone looking for quality cable at cheap price.

a great piece of kit works very well and its small size means it can be carried easily in one pocket. The small black cover for the microphone does in fact fall off, but a small rubber band holds it on well. In any event it is only useful out side in windy conditons.
