I did a fair bit of research before settling on this Sony. I was originally interested in the 7" model, but it is worth going for the extra size to get a better picture. The quality is outstanding - very sharp even with 80s TV programmes on DVD. The colours are punchy and crisp and overall I am very impressed with the visuals. Althought it is region 2, it plays my region 4 DVDs fine, but cannot play Region 1 NTSC disks. Two earphone jacks is great so you can watch a movie on a plane or train with others. The detachable battery is slim and means when using the unit through the plug without a battery, it is nice and slimline. I think it is better than any of the Phillips, Toshiba and other models ... Just what i was looking for. Dual alarms, so you dont have to hit the snooze button 5 times before you get out of bed. Both alarms can be set differently [radio comes on at 645, if your still not up, buzzer can go off at 0700] and both are extremely easy to set. great radio receiver and decent quality sound. glad i bought the right one after searching through amazons selection.

Decided to buy an HDMI Lead from Amazon care of Audiovisual online instead of paying over £60 at Curry's Digital/IMO Despicable for a similar product. Yes over £60 for a lead! Ouch! (Actual price £64.99!) Therefore chose to buy a 2.5m Hdmi to Hdmi cable for £5.49 inc p&p. So impressed with the speed of the service. Expected the cable to come on the 4th-7th November. Received it on the 31st of October. Ordered on the 29th. WOW! Don't believe the hype of all those overly priced expensive leads, get it from Audiovisual online. Save yourself a fortune. Buy a game or 2 with the money you'd save getting it from the aforesaid seller. Keep up the brilliant work.

I wanted a compact case to store & carry my S700 and this is a perfect fit. Camera goes in battery compartment first with lens facing curved side panel. Pocket holds 4 batteries and a spare card. Strap is a good length and strong. I am delighted with it.

I'm going to compare this player to the ipod touch which is what I had considered buying until I saw the price tag and compared the two models. This player is great overall. I initially bought it just as an mp3 player but after seeing how amazing the screen quality was, I've been using it to watch movies during my lunch breaks at work. The quality of the screen beats most mp3 players hands down even if it may be smaller than some that are out there; and this includes the ipod touch as the zen's screen has a better colour display (zen 16.7 million colours vs ipod touch's 64 thousand colours). Keep in mind that though the screen is smaller than an ipod touch, the whole player is smaller and lighter, all the while still providing longer battery life. ... Read More:

I am a Pure fan and this is my sixth Pure digital radio. I had such high hopes. Firstly let me say that the radio or Chargepak E1 that I bought at the same time has a fault in that it will not run on battery power for more than 10 minutes - then the controls lock up. So it's going back. Pure's customer relations is creaky to say the least. I have been waiting for five days now for a return lable and still not sign despite various promises. Apart from the fault the radio sounds great and it mostly works ok. But yet again this is a wi-fi /DAB radio with a really clunky interface and quite horrible to use. My first internet/DAB was the Tangent Qauttro which outperforms this piece of junk as well as the Roberts Stream - another duff purchase - which is also crude in ... Read More:

This case looks smart and feels like much better quality than it's price might lead you to expect especially if you're put off by the very notion of NYLON. It appears to be very well put together with a good zip and strong outer stitching. In terms of overall size and handling it's a bit like a coffee table size book and it feels very comfortable to flick through although I agree with others that it might be a bit less practicable in the car. Once I've filled it up I will definitely buy another one.
