I have to say I was shocked when I first saw the video quality on this little device - it really is crystal clear. There are other, cheaper, MP4 players on the market with a bigger screen but none have the quality this has. The battery life is very good allowing me to watch several 2 hour long films without having to charge - something you'll be grateful for on a long-haul flight. The video format has to be specifically MP4 but its easy to find programs to convert DVD's and such into this format so its not a problem. Aside from video, the sound and music is brilliant both with the supplied in-ear headphones or with your own choice (a good set will bring out the best it can offer). Great Sound quality for the headphones.... however they break extremely easily. the connection came apart on mine loads of times, eventually the wire came off and in my attempt to solder them back together i completely destroyed the earbud. brilliant!

I've had one of these for a couple of weeks now and so far, it's fantastic. When these came out, I thought it'd be an ideal time to replace my old 2nd gen Nano. I cannot fault the design at all. It's very similar to the design of the 2nd gen Nano in ways and it's very sensible. I don't know why they designed the 3rd gen Nanos the way they did... it was taking a step backwards. The design of this Nano is excellent. It is a good aluminium casing, which doesn't get covered in fingerprints and doesn't scratch easily (the colour choices are fantastic too!), the screen and click wheel are well placed and the screen is the perfect size. Both my parents and I have bought this radio. A DAB radio, from Pure, for £50? Brilliant. And it was for the first 6 months. Slowly but surely the sound quality disappeared. It's like when the power cable is touching the ariel and the sound is a little bubbly, and odd. Hell, we listen to alot of Radio 5 Live, so we're used to Alan Green sounding a little distant... Right now, the radio can't even scan for stations. The same happened for my folks. It's a real shame, because it's an awesome radio, especially for the price. I'd keep your receipt if I were you. (it's worth pointing out that I have two other Pure DAB radios that have been, for the past 3 years, utterly excellent. It's just worth spending a little bit more on it)...

I can't see the point of paying any more than this for an iPod case. This is a nice design and fits my new 120Gb iPod Classic perfectly. I'm not sure how durable it will prove but it does the job of protecting my iPod from scratches while I'm on the move. You can connect the USB cable to the iPod and charge and sync it while it's in the case but you have to take the case off to use an iTrip or docking station.

O.k so there seems to be some mixed reviews and accuasations of fakes over these phones. Please let me add my 2 cents. I bought a pair from HMV for £55 to replace my CX 300's. I was incredible dissapointed with the mid range and muddy sound(EQ set to flat). Bass was great thoughwith the bass booster set to on, on the ipod, but drowned everything else out. Luckily the wire broke within a week, so i returned the to the store, got 2 new pairs of 300s on speical at £20 and was refunded the £15 difference. The moral of the story is i went for 2 pairs of the cheaper model in the line instead of 1 pair of these(tho i would of been happy with any headphones except these). Remember price doesnt indicated sound quality, these are like listening to music while swimming.

We bought this with a new Ipod Classic 120gb on 22/09/08. It is brilliant. No problems with it at all. Music sounds great and we are really pleased. Highly recommended for the price.

I bought my iPod touch last Christmas and fell in love with it immedietly. However... now, after just nine or ten months it has already started to 'play up'. It pauses randomly and sometimes i can see the time slider going through a song but no sound. i took it back to the apple shop, they put the new updates on it (free of charge i'd like to say ;)) but i still have the same problem i.e keeps pausing randomly. i would suggest that you don't buy the iPod touch as i am completely convinced that mine will stop working altogether JUST after my one year gurantee runs out. proof of this: my friend and her sister both bought an iPod on the same day last year and just after their one year gurantee ran out... they both stopped working within hours of each other. many ... This five pack is good value when on usual offer from Amazon - so stock up for the hols and Xmas (as a single cassette in a high-street shop can cost up to 5 times more than the unit price offered here). Quality and reliability seem perfectly fine for my budget Sony HC22E HandyCam, never a dropout and the picture is noticably better than with my old Hi8 tapes - I always record in SP though. Only reason not to buy is that Amazon often sells a ten-pack of Sony Premium Mini DV tapes that's generally even better value per tape [so check that blister pack out as well]. Note video tape such as used in these cassettes are proprietary 'lubricated' and sticking to the same brand of tape (e.g. these Sony ones) has been thought by many to reduce problems with the video ...
