Sounded really good to begin with. Good sound quality and volume. But after a few hours use it would keep cutting out. The only way to stop it cutting out is to turn the volume down. This carries on untill its so quiet you can't hear it and so don't notice it cutting out. Really wouldn't recommend

It will charge your mobile as a docking style device and most importantly, give you a great sound for such a compact unit. Whether or not your playing your MP3 tracks or the radio you will love the sound from this unit......that for once (for this type of accessory).....feels really well contructed.

I think the previous reviewer is a bit dim because you have to pull the 2 leg stands out from the back of the unit to enable it to stand up otherwise it will of course fall over!! Mine stands up fine (When the legs are pulled out) and the sound is superb especially the 3d feature which gives a spatial sound and is really effective. Overall great sound and value for money for a compact portable unit and don't forget that it has a rechargeable battery so you don't need to buy any or keep it plugged into the mains for it to work hence it can be used anywhere, plus it has a small remote so no need to get up to change the volume or scan the tracks!! Of course the Bose unit has a better sound but it is a lot more expensive and weighs a ton so it depends ... Read More:

Very rarely a product comes along that actually meets my rather exacting standards. This is one of them. My requirements for this product were: Light, compact and with good enough sound to enjoy watching a film on my laptop; in a hotel room. It succeeds where others have failed. That said this won't make a regular addition to my travel kit, however this is more to do with my travel ethos than the product. I will continue to use headphones when I travel alone. But when the missus comes with me, these will to. If like me you are a regular business traveller who hates kit clutter and goes ultra-light. You might want to look into a Mogo mouse.

Yes, battery life... mine went dead after less than a year of usage which is disappointing. The logic of the navigation on the Zen Stone is frustrating; meant to be intuitive it is in fact a cluttered and often unresponsive effort which the designer could have avoided. It comes with no clip - I understand this is part of the 'pebble' design but from a practical point of view (i.e. when in the gym or on the move),and for something so small, a clip would have been highly useful. Following the premature `death' of the Zen Stone I am now opting for a Sandisk Sansa Clip which hopefully will prove a more long lasting choice.

I bought these speakers recently so I could use my iPod Touch in the kitchen. Absolutely fantastic speaker for the price. Great rich sound for a unit so small. They're a basic speaker in that there's no remote or added functionality but they're perfect for what I need. They come with a dust bag and are certainly small enough to travel with. Can be used with batteries or the supplied power adaptor. The buzzing sound people have reported worried me a little, but thus far I have not witnessed this. Highly recommended.
