After reading some reviews and seeing similar products I was sceptical about the nimzy vibro max at first, but I do love gadgets and I had to give it a go. I was surprised by how small and heavy it is when I got it out of the box and how well built it feels. The sound quality is good, I would compare it to other small portable speakers although it has slightly more bass and it can sound much better than most portable speakers as long as you have something like a large window or table to put it on. I totally agree with Phoenix - did exactly the same thing, I wish I revisited the page to have read her review before I bought it,but I put this item in my basket when I saw it in August ready for daughter's birthday. The trouble is the other colours do fit the 3rd Gen Nano's, it's easy to be misled. I've no idea why this one won't, it seems silly. I don't like to give one star for an item I've not tested but you need to draw people's attention to this flaw.

I totally agree with Phoenix - did exactly the same thing, I wish I revisited the page to have read her review before I bought it,but I put this item in my basket when I saw it in August ready for daughter's birthday. The trouble is the other colours do fit the 3rd Gen Nano's, it's easy to be misled. I've no idea why this one won't, it seems silly. I don't like to give one star for an item I've not tested but you need to draw people's attention to this flaw.

I have been looking around for a portable speaker system for a while, considering the streetparty and various other makes. My first impressions were just how small the unit is, I was worried that it wouldn't measure up in the sound department. I don't own an ipod and have been using my little 1 gb sony player and the results are great, sound is crisp and clear and the volume from such small speakers is amazing. I am no audio expert but wow! Ok these are more expensive but the extra price is really worth it. The only slight problem is that it doesn't come with a power supply just a usb lead for power from a computer, but this is small omission for a great little package.

Having recently being ripped off in the US with extremely poor sounding mini speakers for around £70 I was cautious of repeating the event with this US branded speaker. The unit I bought was sold as sub standard, possibly with small marks and damaged box. In fact it was like new all round with only slight "strap" marks on the box. The benefit was the sub £70 price! Thank You Amazon....! Out of the box the unit is neat and single piece. It comes with a laptop style power adaptor and mains plug so that take up a bit of desk space too. Overall the iGroove looks compact and neat on the top of the kitchen counter or desk space, so long as you can hide the power brick somewhere. There is an in built carry notch ... Read More:

Anyone expecting an unpowered speaker to produce loud sounds from an mp3 player has very little idea about electronics. The output from a typical player is of the order of tens of milliwatts so the volume produced is bound to be low. These speakers perform well, in quiet areas only, from my Sony network walkman. They are clear and undistorted. They are well made and very portable. However do not buy if you want significant volume levels, there are many alternatives out there.

Purchased these speakers to use at work with my ipod. The quality of the sound is excellent but as you would expect lacking in bass due to the small size. The design is clever and protects the speakers whilst you carry them. The connection into the rear of the speakers can be fiddly to get in. Overall, excellent sound and nice design.

Good reception, links up with bluetooth phone really quickly and easy to use. Overall a prety good product and not a bad price. Voice quality ok but a bit on the quiet side.
