Fair enough, it does work in as much as it can switch between two sets - when it's working properly. 'Features' hot-key switching? Try onlysupports* hot-key switching. I could find no physical way to switch computers. That wouldn't have mattered much, except that the hot keys stopped responding within 15 minutes - and with no physical switch (unless it's well-hidden), I was stuck - I couldn't switch computers. The whole point of having this thing was so that I didn't have to keep going to the back of the two PCs and messing around with cables. This doesn't cut it!

I ordered this from e2GO and they shipped me a model with a European 2 pin AC power adaptor which is no good in the UK. The package did include a very cheap 2-pin to UK adaptor but it doesn't fit properly so the AC adaptor just falls out. If it does stay in the weighty AC adaptop is turned through 90 degrees and will obscure any vacant power points to the side. I have complained to e2GO and will update this review when I get the response. In future I will buy from a UK supplier (if its possible to tell - I don't recall it being obvious that e2GO was not in the UK).

This works great. It comes with all required cables and worked straight out of the box. I didn't need to look at the manual. I can now share my wireless USB keyboard and mouse (Logitech DiNovo) between two PC's with this, because of the USB-sharing port. I have had countless failures with other devices trying to achieve this in the past. This one is a success though and it's dirt cheap too (25 quid plus postage) I plug my wireless USB keyboard/mouse hub into the KVM's USB port, and it gets routed to whichever PC is active. Works perfectly. I still have to make the PS2 keyboard connections to each PC though (PS2 mouse connections not necessary). I don't know when I have ever developed a hatred for a product so quickly. I tried this between my laptop and desktop workstation. It worked fine with the laptop but the desktop just won't have it. The Flip is basically a switchable hub and unpowered hubs can be flaky at the best of times but this thing has been unreal. Depending on how you boot your machines it can even confuse itself and indicate that is connected to one machine while switching the other. If you want my advice either get a PS2 KVM switch or forget it. This is worse than useless!

Look at the customer image for this, as Amazon's image is for the PS2 model. The leads are USB, but the inlets are only PS2. In that respect it is NOT a USB KVM switch, and I'm taking this up with Amazon. It's not suitable for the purpose intended.
