After going through one or two of these types of things that didn't work with or without proper drivers it was a joy to finally buy a product that worked first time out of box without any hassle whatsoever! You will need a power supply (not included) to use it with a device which requires power (like a flash drive or usb wireless dongle). But it works fine with my printer, scanner, and external hard drive connected.

At last someone has actually thought about how people might like to use a USB hub. The unit has most of its connections at the back like any other hub but gains extra brownie points for sticking one port right on the top of the unit. This is great for quickly plugging and unplugging stuff like flash drives or digital cameras. It seems well made and I like the design being an iMac user. A couple of self adhesive pads to stick the thing down would have been perfect but I've sorted that now. Highly recommended.
