This product simply doesn't work a lot of the time. Here are some of the highlights ... It doesn't support common keyboards (I tried 4) including Belkin's own cheapo keyboard. Keyboard mapping is wrong when keyboard is plugged into the keyboard USB slot - solved by plugging it into one of the spare USB slots - but then you need a SECOND keyboard plugged into the keyboard USB slot or it bleeps endlessly. This sucks deeply. If you unplug anything without powering EVERYTHING down it will bleep incessantly. This can (sometimes) be fixed by powering down / up again. I tried to use this bluetooth dongle with a SonyEricsson Mobile. File transfer works. OBEX sync with outlook messed up my whole outlook calendar and tasks. Never got it to work properly. Some Entry's are missing others are automatically generated. SonyEricsson software can not be used because the BT software can create a virtual com port only for a short time.

I bought this a few months ago and it worked well to start with, but now repeatedly drops connections and has to be re-booted. Having looked at the user communities in the States, it appears that this product suffers a terrible failure rate. Do not buy this item. I will be trying the Netgear product instead.

This is a clever little hub and yes, it does grip the edge of a desk offering two upward-pointing ports at the front and two more on top. It'd look a lot neater were the mini USB port to have been sited elsewhere - it's on top - but that's a minor niggle. Feels well-made, is unobtrusive and works well.

Its a simple device and its great at what it does. However, its main purpose is to save me bending all over and fiddling with cables and simply put, the cable that goes from the back of the computer to this box isnt long enough. While I literally don't have to get on my knees under my desk when someone calls me on Skype, I sitll have to fiddle around under my desk. So I took off 2 stars for this - make that cable 30cms longer!
