How anyone can rate this above 2 stars is something one can't understand. I used to have a good conception of SONY's quality, but this product really managed to change that. If you don't believe it, take a look at this: Audio quality: 1.- Noise: Constant "hiss" coming out from the headphones since the moment you turn it on. With or without a track playing in the phone, the noise is always there. 2.- Distortion: The sound reproduced it's full of distortion, particularly in the medium high frequencies. Anyone looking for a decently priced home theatre system should consider the Samsung HT-TZ315R as it delivers good quality surround sound, is easy to assemble/set up and can be bought for less than £250. With my old system I was constantly changing the settings in an attempt to give me a decent home theatre experience. Having assembled and set this system up in less than 2 hours I put Saving Private Ryan on. This had been recently saved from SKY MOVIES and as I had connected my SKY+HD box using the optical in I was expecting some good sounds from all the speakers. First off, I'm a guitarist. I've been playing 10 years - live, recording, teaching and teching. I got this on whim. Very usefull to have one of these, i use it in low light / night, landscape and still life photography. I find it perfect when shooting seascapes and need to get waves just as they are breaking. Great bit of kit and highly recommended.

Very usefull to have one of these, i use it in low light / night, landscape and still life photography. I find it perfect when shooting seascapes and need to get waves just as they are breaking. Great bit of kit and highly recommended.

I dithered for a long time trying to choose a 40" TV. Couldn't decide between Panasonic Plasma or Sony LCD. In the end my dithering paid off as the price has dropped by over £400. I bought the Sony in the end and I'm extremely pleased with it. I'm mainly using it for Sky (SD) but even on Freeview through the built in tuner it has a great picture (so long as you don't sit right in front of the screen) much better than any Freeview picture I have seen...very little Pixilation even on fast moving stuff like football. Haven't tried any HD sources yet but upscaled DVDs look very rich. I'm slightly disappointed by the sound....doesn't have the punch of my Toshiba LCD so at some stage I may consider surround sound or a 'sound ... Read More:

An awsome unit. I received mine yesterday and am so happy with it. The sound is superb, with fairly good bass and good clarity. Other reviews state that the tuner cant tune properly. These people have not set the unit up right. It just needs to be set to Euro tuning instead of USA, and then everything is fine. The white casing looks better than the black as it shines the blue illumination around it better. I'm very happy.

I find the August USB Tv receiver fantastic! It's a nice gadget at an attractive price. It works perfectly fine on my IBM. The set up was very simple following the instruction. The blazevideo software is easy to use and the interface looks cool with a bundle of different features! I use the supplied aerial since I don't have a rooftop aerial. I assume the freeview signal where I live will be good as I am living in London zone 2. Given the price is cheap I thought it is worth a go. It came up about 52 channels on the EPG list included 8 or 9 radio channels. I am very glad as it has most of the channels I like: ITV1-3 Sky sports news, E4+1, Sky Three, Five, Five US BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 BBC news 24,Sky news 24, and some shopping channels etc. It has more ...
