Love these speakers and have no complaints what so ever. They sound great, they look great and as for this buzzing people complain about all the time, all i can say is they are real fuss pots! The noise is very very minimal and is standard with every speaker system. I highly recommend these speakers

My Logitech Extrusio speakers finally died after seven years of service, and being currently very cash constrained I couldn't go past £25 for new speakers. I decided to take a chance on these rather than a Labtec set costing £5 more mainly because these have nearly twice the max RMS output (40W rather than 25W), are nearly twice as heavy, so I assumed the bass would be significantly better. On receipt, my first impression was how small the bass unit was, and I knew that it couldn't possibly reach very low frequencies (you need physical space for that). At least it had a bit of weight which is necessary to transmit the bass outwards.

After a great deal of plugging in cables, I was first very disappointed by the bass - even with ... Read More:

After reading all the reviews (particularly the 'one star' review) here and on the Internet I decided to go ahead and order these speakers.

They arrived today and were quickly set up. They are superb! Top high-fi quality at last. I have a separate hi-fi set-up with an expensive pre-amplifier and amplifier feeding two speakers which cost me well over a thousand pounds several years ago, but these 2.1 Altec Lansings fed from my laptop equal them at a fraction of the cost.

The negative review by Orpheus above, with respect, shows a lack of understanding of sub-woofers (quote: "Altec Lansing could do the decent thing and magnetically shield the sub-woofer so that it can go anywhere"). Does anyone know of a top-class sub ... Read More:

Anyone who is looking for or prefer a portable, simple sound system for uni or office without the added wires and bulk, or who simply need the space, this is a perfect choice.

They look fabulous, build quality is good and the product has some weight for stabilty on a desk but also to reproduce sound accurately - which surprisingly responsive with deep bass without a separate sub!

These speakers are the mutts nuts, the sound quality is excellent the base is even better, Logitech are aceee, they make the best speakers and the easiest to use. I normally don't like spending big money on speakers, but the less you spend the poorer the sound quality, Logitech made a switch on the back to adjust the base, then on the speakers an earphone jack and a volume switch and power On/Off, this is easier to acess. The stand underneath the speaker bends giving it and option to stand up or be wall mounted, this is done by twisting the stand round to fit either way, The input to the Subwoofer is like an LCD monitor plug so it doesn't get damaged easy and can be locked in to ensure it doesn't come out, out of 10 I would give them 10/10 these speakers ...
