I bought this set of speakers about 6 months ago, and after about a month of use they began to switch themselves off. This began to happen more and more frequently until I contected Creative for a replacement, which they did so. It's been another month and now my new pair have began to do the same thing. DO NOT BUY THESE SPEAKERS! This is a very common problem, just check the Creative Support Forum and you'll see masses of complaints about this issue.

Straight out of the box, the build quality is impressive - Chinese manufacture has come a long way! The quick-start instruction sheet is a doddle to follow, just be sure to push the multi-pin remote control connector fully home, they won't work otherwise. The sound is awesome, with phenomenal bass and it gets even better after a couple of day's usage. I use them with my Vaio laptop and Sony Ericsson phone and it all works brilliantly! It has to be said that mp3 at 128KB/s isn't the highest quality audio format, but the 3220s really do get the best out of it ...careful mixing-in of the bass rewards you with vibrant clarity and power! At these reduced prices, they're a real bargain and without doubt, the best purchase I've made so ... Read More:

Recently on a holiday to France, I was forced to spend some time indoors (due to appalling weather). There was no radio/TV in the gite we were staying in, so I popped out to the local Dixons and bought these speakers for 14. Bought them on the premise that I would leave them in the gite after I used them. But I ended up taking them home cause they are so good value for money. The sound is not what you'd call bombastic, but for PC or MP3 speakers where you're not looking for amazing bass, these speakers are incredible. Recommended for MP3 speakers to stick in a suitcase while abroad. Not recommended if you really like your sounds, good but not that good.

I have just received my add on speaker and it has made an amazing difference to the sound, I would recommend that it is an essential item to accompany the radio. I loved the radio, but a little disappointed with the sound, but this really does make it sooo much better. Would have preferred not to have spent the extra money, but it is definitely worth it.

I bought mine in the USA ( Costco ) just £31 . I'm delighted . It's small and light enough to fit in my luggage yet sounds impressive. The only thing that could be a problem in the future is that the battery is sealed and not replaceable ( it will have a limited number of cycles). Overall a fantastic item if you travel a lot and want some decent music in your hotel room.
