This is really a fantastic piece of equipment it sounds great from the very bottom to the very top end of the sound spectrum. I would highly recommend this product to any 'Music Lovers'.

These seakers are great i have used them a VAST amount they are holding up very well seeing how much they get battered about must buy for the price!

I have been searching for portable speakers for a while, if you are looking for something taht is:- a) Portable b) Battery powered (with mains option) c) Not limited to iPod's only (3.5mm jack input) d) quality sound Then the iM4 is perfect. The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.

It will charge your mobile as a docking style device and most importantly, give you a great sound for such a compact unit. Whether or not your playing your MP3 tracks or the radio you will love the sound from this unit......that for once (for this type of accessory).....feels really well contructed.

Set-up of these retro-styled speakers is easy - the rather obtrusive bass unit goes under your PC desk and plugs into the mains, while the little chrome-trimmed satellite speakers go each side of your screen. Printed intructions tell you where the cables go, so in a few minutes you will be switched on -- and probably very pleased. The control unit is a separate device and mine sits on top of my PC tower. The cable that plugs into the pale green sound socket of your PC comes out of this. I think the previous reviewer is a bit dim because you have to pull the 2 leg stands out from the back of the unit to enable it to stand up otherwise it will of course fall over!! Mine stands up fine (When the legs are pulled out) and the sound is superb especially the 3d feature which gives a spatial sound and is really effective. Overall great sound and value for money for a compact portable unit and don't forget that it has a rechargeable battery so you don't need to buy any or keep it plugged into the mains for it to work hence it can be used anywhere, plus it has a small remote so no need to get up to change the volume or scan the tracks!! Of course the Bose unit has a better sound but it is a lot more expensive and weighs a ton so it depends on what application ... Read More:

This product has worked absolutely brilliant. All the uses i needed it for. Now I got one my great grandad has now gone and bought one because he loved it. The only fault I found was if you have a power cut it looses the time and the alarms that they were set to. Like last night we had a power cut and i woke up about an hour later and found that i couldn't find out the time and was totally lost.

I've just bought the X-240 speakers and the design is excellent. I love the cute little satellites, they're well angled to point directly to you. If you like your music SERIOUSLY bass heavy, then these are a good buy. I have the sub set to about 25% and in loud paced music it's still too "thud" rather than "music". Basically, it's a GREAT kick-drum, but bass guitar is poor. I've just had to replace my Harman Kardon Soundsticks (and coz I'm feeling poor, I didn't want to replace the £129 speakers at the same price). I saw a good few reviews for the X-240 and I guess for the money, they're a good deal. Anyone who tries to persuade you these are "HiFi" needs to be led into the street and put out of your and everyone else's misery. The sound is cloudy at best ... Read More:

These provide a good quality sound when attached to a PC - nothing special,but what do you expect for £10-15. Ideal if you just want standard quality sound, but if you want high quality sound for editing etc. I recommend getting some more expensive speakers in the range above this one.(£30+) But, this is a good price for a good pair of speakers.
