I can't complain at all about the quality of the pictures. This is really an great camera. Unfortunately, it is disturbingly battery hungry, so if you decide to buy it, keep in mind that you will always have to carry along a couple of spare pairs of batteries. I stress always. You'll find out immediately.

This is a superb digital SLR! Ok, it's not one for the professionals, but for the vast majority of us going about our every-day photography it's very capable. It has a great optical zoom lense, and you can switch between looking through the electronic viewfinder, and the screen on the back. There are also manual exposure modes on it, but I rarely use these. The resolution is adequate for photos and computer screen browsing without being so much that photos are slow to be transmitted. In think all in all this is a great camera, and it's very affordable!

A great camera to use with many features. You CAN alter the ISO down to 125 which is standard film speed but to capture a moving image the multi-picture(burst) option is probably best. It can also be used for video conferencing for those into that.

Olympus make great digital cameras. I got this one some time ago now and I have to say I think Olympus were way ahead of most other makes by producing something affordable, easy to use and reasonable in quality. The whole Camedia range is good and you cant really go too wrong with any of them for a well balanced money-to-use buy. Having said that the range of digital cameras has expanded rapidly in just the last 2 years and you can pick up ALOT more for your money. I got a Fuji A345 after this...its much the same but with a better lens and greater pixels and has a better power-to-use ratio. That is in fact why I got a newer Fuji...the Olmpus range eats batteries!! Also dont get any of these low end cameras for the movie/film feature its ... Read More:

In fact have now moved onto a more modern version with more features - and my husband has taken over this one that it still going strong.

I've owned this camera for several years after receiving it as a christmas gift. For what I wanted to use it for, it was perfect. I got many great family album snapshots out of it. The main problem, as mentioned in other reviews, is it's huge thirst for batteries - even the rechargables I have only last a few hours but I always make sure I'm carrying a few spare pairs around with me. Also, dispite being easily scratched, my camera has taken a fair amount of bashing and still works perfectly fine. So, if you don't mind having a camera with a few battlescars you won't have a problem (a case is always recommended though). Another disappointing aspect of this camera is it's zoom - I would highly recomment leaving this feature well alone. Even zoomed in only ... Read More:

I just upgraded to a swanky Canon thing - but why? Honestly this camera is absolutely reliable , produces really good pictures [printed at 5" X 7" from Kodak] and the sotware is dead easy to use . ...and I'm going to give mine away to my big sister for nothing ?? If it can still be bought [ and I bet it's less than 100 quid now] you cannot go far wrong . You can spend a good deal more and get what exactly ? - something smaller , flashier and [being honest] having only slightly better picture quality . So why bother ? Buy one of these
