The product does not come with Vista related manuals or driver CDs - everything is for Win2K or XP. The phone will function properly, however will not register or receive any incoming calls. I have contacted Logitech, and they can confirm that there is no solution. This is a known, but un-documented issue. Therefore, if you have Vista and you use SkypeIn to receive incoming calls - then DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PHONE until a Logitech/Vista patch is released. The phone should work great with XP - quality seems good - hence the 3 star rating.

firstly - you have to choose your skype solution carefully. Not every solution will suite everyone. The M34 for Siemens phones lets you take/make skype calls on your normal home phones (I have SL565) and if you are like me and don't like being tied to your PC and carrying or keeping track of yet another dedicated skype handset, this is a really good solution. The incoming calls are easily router to your DECT phones and if you have more than one handset, skype calls can either be routed to a particular handset or all. the voice quality is fine. I bought one of these and it's very easy to set up and use, once the account is set up there is no need for a pc at all. As a test i took it over seas on a project in Algeria, on the site the was a satellite internet connection and it finds the skype connection in no time at all. The only criticism is that the audio quality degrades very slightly if another PC is using the same ethernet hub as the phone, it saved me a lot of money on overseas calls. Now I use it full time at home, I have no conventional landline at all.
