Electronics : D-Link DSL-924 54Mbps Wireless ADSL2+ Router & USB Adapter
I've had two USB wireless adaptors for my router now. The first one wouldn't support MAC at all (no software on the CD-ROM and D-LINK's support line told me so as well). I just bought an upgraded adaptor because it said clearly on the box that it supported MAC OS 10.4.x. It didn't work. The CD-ROM now had software for OS 10.4 but .... NOTHING. More hours of my life wasted on the phone to D-LINK's support team who finally told me that it only works with up to OS 10.4.8. I have 10.4.10 so hard luck to me. I pointed out their trading stanadrds violation and they offered to refund me on the spot. I take my hat off the KarenF. How she got hers to work, I'll never know. Maybe she has an earlier version of the MAC OS. Avoid this hardware.

Electronics : Philips SNA6500 ADSL wireless base station 11 b/g
I've had this wireless router for about 18 months now and have no complaints whatsoever. I'm a lone female and until reading the other reviews I would have described myself as a technical dunce. But I managed to set up not only the router but also a Philips Streamium which I bought at the same time in order to stream from my PC to the TV.

Set both of them up unaided in just a few minutes and both have given good and trusty service!

The hapless male reviewers have made my day!
