A bit dubious about buying the cheapest Cable router and the unmarked white box did not inspire confidence either. However I have been pleasantly surprised. The wireless range in my very old house (3' thick sandstone walls) is much better than the 3Com ADSL unit it has replaced. Setup and security all seem effective and effortless, working with laptops with built-in and PC-card wireless devices. Good value product.

Well, I bought it due to the good customer reviews. I must say, this is a terrible card. The connection drops constantly and the drivers are awful. Google the card and you will see the constant connection drops.
Its partly to do with the Security and will only support WEP. The signal varies all the time and the computer is exactly a floor below the wireless router. I tested My Laptop with built in wireless in the same possition as the computer and it was fine, no varible signals, no drops no problems.

Firstly i suffer from poor wifi reception through living in an old terrace house and have only ever had very low or just plain low reception at the rear of it !About a year ago i bought a Sitecom wireless extender from Maplins but over the last year i have spent an eternity trying to configure it and getting nowhere! That was £30+ wasted so when i saw this product i wanted so much to try it but maplins had reduced it to £70 but i was worried it too was going to be another waste of money!SOO i trawled the net and with about a fiver in postage i got it here for about £57! ALL YOU DO is plug it in your main PC or spare ethernet socket on your router ,then go to where you have no reception ,plug the other unit in a wall socket and plug the cable ... Read More:

Up and running in literally minutes, thanks to the highly efficient setup wizard - it almost took less time to set it up than it did to unpack it. It immediately gathered up my home/home office network (2 wired Windows PCs running XP, one wireless laptop running XP, another wireless laptop running Vista Home Premium and a Mac running OSX - quite a mixture) and had them all sharing with none of the pain I remember from the obsolete Inexq router it replaced. Very highly recommended for both experts and new users. Also, I love the idea of having a buffalo router - invaluable during a stampede, presumably. Wonder if it also works on bison and wildebeest?

Fitted easily. Driver software already on my G5, so no need to install from supplied CD.
Communicates well with my BT Voyager 2091, though the acid test will be when I run my Mac from the garden shed whilst the router/modem remains in the house (about 90ft distance). All in all, very happy so far. Also, thought it best to install an actual Mac product in my Mac rather than taking a perceived bigger chance buying a third party card.

My brother brought the set with the 2 plugs that give you 85mbp, because I have an xbox wireless adapter i thought i might as put it too good use and use the wireless instead of a wire. It works great and works with the plug we already brought so all i had to do was put the other plug in my room (we also have very very thick walls) and it works superb. The wireless isnt as good connection as using the wire but all the same is the best solution if having problems with getting wireless everywhere in your home great job Devlolo!!

I bought this camera just for home use... I travel a lot and wanted to keep a reassuring eye on my home and pets (fish.... before anyone calls the RSPCA). As a result. reviews about the noisy motor and the restrictions on users that can connect to it didn't really bother me too much.

Was does bother me, now that I have the product, is the unreliability of the wireless connection. I have played with the settings, reduced the image quality, changed the image type etc and I am lucky if I can connect to the camera 1 out of 3 attempts before it times out. It seems to lock up pretty often as well so even after I have made the connection simple tasks like changing the camera angle seem to lock it out. Sometimes closing my browser allows me to ...
