The new nano is great, the best one that's ever come out! The colour is amazing and the screen is awesome. Yes it doesn't charge with most speakers but if it's fully charged the battery lasts for ages anyway so just charge it over night! People have also complained about the cover flow. I think it's fine. To be honest it looks dam good when you have all the album covers on there. All in all it looks great, sounds great, and functions great there is no other mp3 I would consider buying.

This iPod looked dodgy ever since it came out. It looks more or less a miniature version of the ipod classic. It's just £50 than a classic. This only store 8 GB while classic store 80 GB and it has no extra features whatsoever. Finally the 4th generation is out and that can do things the classic can't so don't buy this.

This iPod looked dodgy ever since it came out. It looks more or less a miniature version of the ipod classic. It's just £50 than a classic. This is a really great product and now is the time to buy them because they're getting real cheap second hand. The sound quality is good for something so small and it is really easy to use with the click wheel and Itunes is good too. It's really beautiful to look at and it's so slim. But that was it's only flaw for me. It fell out of my pocket when doing shopping. So overall it's fantastic but quite easy to lose.

Was bought for me Christmas 2006, all went well untill July o8.Would not turn off even when trying to reset unit. Next morning totally dead , would not even charge or be recognised by my pc.This nano has never been away from my workout station, never dropped or missused, so why???????? Have to go for another, trying for Nano 3rd gen, as I have only just bought expensive dock, hope i have more luck this time. I would recommend 100% if it had been more reliable.

Bought this iPod as a gift for wife and she loves it - looks great and overall it's a very good mp3 player. Though for me the only reason to buy a 1g (first generation) nano is if you want a black or white one. It's true what they say, you only have to put the 1g down on a normal surface and it's scratched. The 2g nano has a longer life battery and better casing, which they say is less likely to pick up marks. So for me it's a shame there isn't a 2g in white. If like me you're a windows user it's worth noting you can install the iPod as a drive on your pc but as these are older models, they require an up-date before you can transfer files. This is a cool piece of technology.Its small,slim and has an excellent display.Pictures are excellent.I have not experienced any scratches yet unlike some other reviews.Would of been 5 stars but for the battery life(which is not 14 hours as stated).I get up to 10 hours maximum.Also would of been nice of apple to supply an AC adaptor so I could charge the ipod from the mains rather than having to charge it through my computer.
