I'm totally amazed at the pure size of it and how much it can hold, music wise, as it can aslo store your contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express in .vcf file format (business cards). I'm totaly happy with mine but I had no clue how upload songs manually through iTunes but I figured that out now and I also had no clue about how to turn it up or down, but, yes I got that sorted as well. 90 out of 100% Pure Gadget.

I ve had my nano for 18 months now and never used it with earphones. In my cars its wired in directly to the head units (which gives full control and avoids those crap fm transmitters) and at home I use docking stations. I also use an Altec IM7 for portable use. This brilliant device has rendered CD's and multichangers obsolete. I ve not come close to filling half the memory so started ripping at higher bit rates as suggested by the audiophilles but I really have nt noticed an improvement in audio quality.No quality or reliability issues which is a shame cos i cant justify buying the gen 4 model out this summer (16gb plus bluetooth is my guess!) Buy one now.

There are a few negative reviews here, whether or not they are by people who have used this new Ipod or not does not matter. Those of you who have used one in the past will know the pros and cons, and this is probably Apple's best yet. I'm not a huge fan of thin styled phones, ipod's etc, and this is easily one of the smallest, but it looks good, and as most people think 'smaller is better', then they should be very pleased. The price is also nice and competetive, especially considering the video playback, and memory capacity. It is also simple to use, and easy to set up. Bought the refurbished Ipod Nano 2GB white. Have had problems with the software which even my 2 very iPod-savy kids couldn't sort out. I ended up going on holiday with no songs on the iPod at all as the software just wouldn't work despite reinstalling. Wish I had just paid a bit more and got a new iPod. Avoid refurbished ones IMO.
