Attempted to buy a video card at what was clearly a very cheap price. Order was canceled by supplier without so much as an apology or an explanation. Ok, fair enough cancel the order (it was too cheap) but at least have the decency to explain your mistake.

Price was corrected on the site and the new price is far higher than other sites. Do not buy this card from this vendor, shop around.

I purchased one of these to use with an Apple Mac, and having turned up at the Apple store planning to buy the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid, I was persuaded by the 'expert' to buy this instead, being promised that it was the newer product, supported by the fact that it ships with the latest EyeTV 3.0 software.

The box contains a variety of parts, most of which I never got round to testing out. The main task was to plug the aerial cable into the Cinergy Hybrid, plug that into the Mac and then install the software. My first criticism would be that you need to use the supplied adapter in order to connect the aerial cable, as the device itself only has a 'micro' coax connector. This makes for ... Read More:
