I totally agree with the previous review - this book is not meant for the UK market. Unless you like American and Canadian cooking pleeeeeese do not waste your money. Most of the ingredients are elusive in this country or have different names, so you would need another book to translate the ingredients !! Its aptly called slow cooker recipes - so slow in my home ive never managed to make even one of the recipes and to be honest none of them even sound very appetizing.

Would you believe microwave cooking? How about oatmeal cake with coconut frosting, bouillabaisse or whole wheat cinnamon rolls? I had no idea how versatile a clay cooker is. This book not only gave me recipes for a variety of foods, but gave me information on care and storage and how to convert standard recipes to cook in clay. The recipes are wonderful and easy to follow. If you've ever thought about cooking in clay, this book will make convince you. I loved it. I use it all the time.

Rosemary is a great food writer and her recipes are easy to follow and fun to eat! Her knowledge of the Aga is tremendous and this is a wonderful book for all owners of the fantastic Aga. Even if you don't have an Aga the recipes are adaptable to the ordinary oven with no fuss or quibbling. I thoroughly recommend this book to all cooks.

If you buy one recipe book for Slow Cookers, buy this one. I bought two others as well and this is by far the best of the lot.
