This is a little book, nothing misleading in the title or physical size. What I find astonishing is that every other page just consists of a number in a large font which refers to the tip on the facing page, which in most cases is barely half full, and then only because some words, singly, are in a large font. Tips include (11 summarised) use an oven timer so you know when something needs checking. Some tips are actually useful, but this book is sized to disappoint in my opinion but then its only £2.79, its put me off other books by the author.

My husband and I have used this book several times for BBQs at our house. We bought it simply becuse we wanted to have one book that covered ideas on BBQs(having got tired of hunting through all the other books for BBQ or possible BBQ recipes). I must say that so far most of the recipes I have tried out have got rave reviews. More importantly nothing has turned out horrible or nasty tasting, everything was good. We especially like the Pork Calypso and the Indian spice rub with fish. The pineapple and mango salsa is also fantastic. For the section on marinades and rubs and glazes and the the salsas and sauces, alone I would say the book is worthwhile.

This unusual book includes many dishes from around the world and has intensity often missing in cookbooks. The ingredients are remarkably simple. Prep and cook times are very short, as is the washing up afterwards. Lots of fish dishes a plus.We've tried a new one each night and have been suprised to find each delicous.
