I've tried masses of recipes from this book and they all work first time. Whether you use an Aga or other sort of cooker doesn't matter-the recipes work which is the main thing.

I was disappointed, it wasn't particularly clear and didn't really cover the areas it needed to. One of the big problems of pressure cooking is trying to find what the reduced cooking time is. I ended up looking it up on the internet.

I started off with a 650 watt microwave and moved on to a 850 watt. I found that I was a little lost on cooking times so ordered the book which helped no end in determining how long to cook various items.

I can only assume that the reviewers so far have been American since this book uses terms like 'broiling' and 'succotash' (?)as well as recipes for a variety of cooker sizes (e.g. 1 to 4 qt). Not really for the UK market.

It's true what they say "you learn something new everyday". I had no idea that microwave cooking could be so versatile. Having just become a Mother for the first time, I cannot wait to try the play dough when my son is a little older...(or is that just an excuse for me to have fun! A fantastic, colourful, easy to read and follow book. Super recipes for families, students, children, the elderly..anyone! A must have..especially for Christmas.
