I use this book all the time and several recipes have become staple meals in our house, try the cauliflower cheese soup - so easy but utterly delicious; or the baked cod on spring onion mash - real gastropub stuff but again so easy. And it's stuffed with little tips which influence your own cooking - I always do my roast potatoes a la Nick now! This book has really made me fall in love with cooking.

Very rarely does a book come into my possession where I want to cook every recipe that I see. This is one of those rare beasts. The recipes just look full of flavour, and after cooking a good few, they do taste as good as they look. Straightforward simple recipes, easy to follow add to the delight.

The recipes in this book are amazingly good and taste wonderful, thai food seems so light and lovely - the green thai chicken curry is highly recommended. Very easy to follow, however if you expect a short lists of ingredients to prepare - you might be slightly disappointed. As long as you prepare the ingredients beforehand you can't go wrong. I have easily found 95% of the ingredients at Tescos.

We have purchased MANY barbecue books over the last few months, and had really high hopes for this title based on the reviews. Sadly the book is very much geared to the American Market (and why shouldn't it be - the author is American himself) and I feel does not measure up well to our homegrown barbecue manuals. There are LOADS of recipes, but I feel that we will only try a few.

One of my favourite cook book around. Miss Dunlop introduce Hunan cookery to the West like no one has yet manage. Easy to follow, beautifully print and most of all Fuschia 's deep understanding of Chinese Cooking even make a Chinese astonished! PS. I have try 80% of its recipe and it is most delectable.

Instructions are simple and the results are brilliant everytime. Having had a number of successes from trying the recipes in the book, I also started to watch his series Heroes:Another Helping on TV. Made me want to get the book out and try more.

This is a wonderful book full of easy to cook recipes that taste delicious and will impress your family and friends. The dishes taste exotic but use ingredients that are easily available in most supermarkets. The book includes recipes for salads, soups, main dishes, vegetables and desserts. My sister spent years learning how to cook like this in the Middle East. I can now (almost) reach her standard by using this book.
