When there's nothing good on TV, I put on the vid. Had some fresh crab meat? Put on the video. Wished I was in Cornwall, having the hot seafood platter. For seafood lovers, this is THE video to watch.

I gave this DVD 1 star because I was feeling generous. This has got to be the worst cake DVD I have ever watched. Do not be tempted by what you see on the front of the cover, because these cakes are not featured. It is not very informative and is rather rushed. If you are a beginner at making cakes, a step by step approach is very helpful, sadly this DVD does not provide this very well. AIso it says that it offers a fail safe method and prevents cake disasters. By this I thought it would offer advice of how to stop cakes from ie doming and to slice cakes evenly in half etc. I was also hoping this DVD showed you how to ice and decorate cakes like the ones on the cover, which it did not. So all in all not a very well planned or thought out DVD.

I am a Gary Rhodes fan and I was overjoyed to see that this video was available. Was I disappointed!! There was no logical sequence to this tape. One minute Gary was sitting on a boat to go catch scallops and the next thing you know he was baking a cake! I know Gary is fond of cars and football but this was supposed to be a cookery video!!Definitely not worth purchasing.
