Food and Drink : Confessions of a Wine Lover
This book is more of an autobiography than a wine book, but that does not make it any less entralling. Robinsons' career in wine is astonishing, prolific and enviable. Her account of how she became so attached to wine is both romantic and understandable. I felt that this book could quite literally inspire an occasional wine drinker to become a boorish buff within a very short period of time!

An excellent read by the First Lady of Wine.

Food and Drink : Bordeaux: How to Find Great Wines Off the Beaten Track (Mitchell Beazley Discovering Wine Country)
This book is quite brilliant! Not only does it help you find some of the more out of the way Chateaux to buy excellent wine at realistic prices, but it also acts as a wonderful ice breaker. We were able to show Monsieur (or Madame) le Patron where they were in this guide and they were all really chauffed to see themselves in print. Thoroughly recommend that if you are going to the Bordeaux region and fancy a bit of tasting and/or buying, that you take this invaluable guide with you.
