Looked smart & reliable, worked great, a lovely birthday present. My first ever coffee grinder and it gave me a taste for the real thing so the coffee must have been fine - but it broke down 3 months in! I didn't use it more than once or twice a week, it certainly wasn't overwork. Now have to buy another, so I guess it did some manufacturer some good by getting me hooked, but I'll never buy wahl again.

These Grill Sponges are excellent for cleaning all the ins & outs of the George Foreman Grill plates, which is almost impossible to do with a normal sponge scrubber, without damaging either the scrubber, or the grill plate. I first discovered them a couple of years ago, and have found them so good, although hard to find locally, that whenever I discover a shop with them, I buy several packs, to ensure that I won't run out, before I have to restock. I would greatly recommend them to everyone.

I have just bought this and am very pleased with it. The only criticism is that it does not have a recipe or instruction book with it. However, I got a recipe from the web and went ahead. On my first try I didn't oil the plates enough and put too much mixture in the machine, but after this I got it right and have enjoyed great fluffy waffles. Would recommend it.

I have no idea what the other reviewer had against this product, Dude it costs only £[...]!!! Anyway this is an effective little gift that works as well as can be expected and is well made. Perfect as a gift for a neat freak!

I had it for 2 and a half years. I like Kenwood hand mixers. I use it for mixing cakes and whipping cream up.

I'm pretty sure this is the model I have, it looks identical but I can't be sure because it's now so old the writing's wiped off. This is the second I've had, the first bought in the early 1980s gunked up when I used it to blend something wet (NOT A GOOD IDEA) and my current one I bought from the local Oxfam store for £5 in the early 90s). Still going strong and producing excellent grinds though I may upgrade to a 'burr' grinder soon after the recent acquisition of an espresso maker (though I'll no doubt hang on to this one as a reserve). Why has it lasted so long? I'm not sure, other than the build quality, I tend to grind in bursts of a few seconds rather than just sticking my thumb down for half a minute (which I'm sure also helps to grind effectively). ... I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

I bought this solely for the use of chopping up fruit and veg for my 9 month old daughter and i must say it works a treat! You are only able to fill the bowl half way with fruit/veg etc which is a little irritating but the size of the appliance is great for just tucking away in the cupboard when im done. When you want to chop however you cant do one long chopping session you have to do it in bits.You also must let the machine "rest",if it goes on too long then it stops chopping. I wouldnt recommend this product if you have alot of chopping to do as it does take time. But for jobs such as making my babys food its awesome.

I loved this for it's novelty item value ~ it's not too bad as a vacuum either, only for small messes though ~ not great for a table full of crumbs...
