I bought mine at the beginning of the year, and I love it. I agree that having to scrape some mix off the sides into the path of the beaters has been a bit irritating (hence only 4 stars), but now I know that it can be adjusted, I'll give it a go. I disagree that stuff is blended, rather than mixed - I find it mixes very thoroughly, and batters etc are as light as air.

I absolutely love the kenwood wizzard, I bought it about 4 months ago after breaking my old braun one (it fell out of the top cupboard & shattered on the floor!) I use the wizzard daily to make home-made baby food, I have been using the blender section for smooth purees and have now progressed onto the chopper attachment to introduce texture to the baby food. I cant comment on the whisk element as not had cause to use this yet. Would definately reccommend to anyone.

I bought this a few weeks ago when it was reduced to £179.99, as an upgrade from having a Kenwood Chef Classic. The kenwood chef was ok at mixing and kneading but this maching is amazing. So far since I have got this machine I have made: 100 cupcakes 2 10" xmas cakes 2 8" xmas cakes 2 6" xmas cakes 3 birthday cakes Pizza Bases Beef Burgers mountains of buttercream scones The mixer handles everything i throw at it with no problems. a 10" xmas cake is a lot of mix, 500g sugar, 500g butter, 9 eggs, 2 KG of fruit, 500g flour. So okay this probably will put me in the past saving category, but I have wanted a Kenwood Chef since I first did Domestic Science at school around 1977! Oh yes I am that ancient. So now I have it all bright and shiny and new, even better than that it only cost me £179.00 inc P&P from AVIDES Media AG via Amazon, unbelievably good value. Not only do I have the mixer, there is a food processor attachment and a glass liquidiser attachment, all the basic tools and a cook book outlining recipes to get the best out of my brand new friend. Looks good in the kitchen. Very easy to use. Lots of gadgets which seem to all get packed away for storage. I use this machine every day. Absolutely love it. Though beware of sharp cutting blades. Whilst drying up ready for first use, blade cut thro tea towel and ended up with cut thumb.

Great all round blender, a little noisy but in terms of looks and build quality it's excellent. No problems so far

This is the worst blender I have ever owned. After about 2 weeks it started to leak through the bottom and all over the counter. Also cleaning it was a real pain. You have to take the whole thing apart which is a real drag. Do yourself a favour and don't buy this product. I will never buy another blender that has a pourer. All it adds is extra things to break and clean. At the end of the day who cares which part of the blender you pour from...

this item is brill i have never had a kenwood chef befor but i work in a bakery and my boss recomended the kenwood chef seris to me because i was on a budget and this is a brilliant buy the machine is a little nosie but u can still hold a convosation over it with no trouble we have had one at work and it has lasted for 10 years so far and we use it at least 6 times a day even more sumtimes but if u are cak handed like me you might wont to tack to splash gard off its just easyer and the atechments are easy to change and it is so easy to clean every thing so bot reject it because of the price save up and buy this machine its the best mixer i have ever had p.s sorry about the spelling
