At only 500ml this is the perfect teapot for small quantities - does 2 cups easily with a bit left over. Looks good, works just perfectly, and generally does exactly what it says on the box. For fine teas, it will let just a very few fine leaves through into the tea but that doesn't bother me - tea bags often do the same. I'm using mine for herbal teas and you can generally infuse the same tea leaves a couple of times, giving you more cups of tea!

great teapot.makes a great cuppa and has a good pourer.No spills or leaks. Would recommend this.It si a bit of a luxury but well worth it.

I've had this teapot (and the black one also listed) for some time and find they allow one to produce cups of tea exactly to taste. You can see the degree of infusion through the glass and remove the basket of leaves at that point. I find the Cafetiere teapots have infusion baskets with a finer mesh than some other similar makes. The latter allow some broken bits of tea leaf to escape and continue to infuse after the basket is removed, which, for those of us who like our tea very weak is a disadavantage.

I dithered quite a bit over which size to get as I wasn't sure about litres and the like, but settled on this 1 litre tea pot which makes 3 decent sized cups or so - I've found it goes nicely with the 0.3 litre Bodum glass mugs. As you'd expect, being glass its easy to keep an eye on the level of tea left in the pot. The 'theiere' thingummy is quite handy, as once the tea has brewed you can press it down and prevent the tea from getting stewed. And well done to Choiceful for keeping the pricing clear by having free delivery!
