There's a saying that goes: "Build a better mousetrap, and the world will beat a path to your door." Well guess what? Nowadays we're a lot more likely to encounter a corked bottle of pinot than a mouse, and as far as I'm concerned, it makes no sense that any other type of corkscrew still exists! This set comes with a foil cutter (not really needed) and a flashy box (also not really needed), and most importantly a nice and chunky lever-arm corkscrew that takes the cork out of the bottle smoothly every time. I all but gave up buying wine until someone bought me one of these. I became frustrated by tipping half a bottle of good red wine down the sink a day after opening it when it had gone off, or feeling that I had to finish the bottle, and so feel worse for drink the day after. This item has changed all that. I no longer have to think about the waste if I just want a glass or two from a bottle. Simply push in the rubber bung and use the pump to suck all the air out. The wine keeps well for at least a week like this, and so is the perfect gizmo, if like me, you are a one or two glass per night regular wine drinker. I was looking forward to these being a talking point, but i am glad the i only ordered the 2 pack. Argyle Port Sippers 2 pack They do look good, but are very flimsy. They feel as though it would not take much for the 'sipper' to break or snap. They also are fiddely. My husband struggles to pick it up without spilling some out of the top. That said, they are great to drink from. The port is sipped from the bottom and is a nice sensation.

To be fair to the product it has nothing wrong with it. Its a good shaker and not too heavy or light. It is what it is, nothing fancy which you cannot expect for £11. Well worth the buy because it is great when guests come round and fun to use. Yes i do recommend this product.

Got this for a christmas present. Did a before and after taste test and the difference is quite surprising. Definitely using it on every bottle from now on. Only problem I've found is it claims to auto power off but doesn't. I have to take batteries out to stop it!

Bought this as a Christmas present - worked fine for all of 6 weeks before breaking! Trying to organise a return which is a nightmare as ver 30 days and I keep going round in circles! Anyway, be wary as not robust at all!

I bought this nearly 6 months ago because I was finding it painful to open bottles due to a combination of RSI and arthritis in my wrist. So I must have used it well over 100 times, with no trouble, even with plastic corks. It's a bit noisy in use and the blue light that tells you it's charging is a bit bright, but the only better wine drinking accessory I've ever seen can be viewed on Youtube if you search for usbwine.
