Would reccomend this unit to anyone with condensation problems have had mine a couple of weeks now we live in a two bedroom flat the condensation was a big problem not anymore all the windows are dry where before I was always having to mop up the excess water and that was only one of the problems we had. Dont be afraid of buying this I kid you not it really does work simple to operate as well.

I have owned a DEC10 model for 3 years & have experienced no problems at all. However due to the layout of my home I needed something bigger. The DEC14 has been perfect so far & is very efficient. Its much better in a room with laundry than the smaller model due to its extraction. It cuts the drying time considerably. I use the 10 for the bedrooms & the 14 near the bathroom & when drying laundry. I highly recommend this product for anyone with a 2 bed flat especially over the winter months. I haven't had any condensation on my windows. I have noticed the 14 is slightly more noisy than the 10, also the 14 works better in lower temperatures than my 10.

I was happy with this dehumidifier at first. It worked well although it is a little noisy. Then it stopped humidifying. Sometimes it would start, the compressor would shake and it would cut out. There is no after sales service from DeLonghi. They refer you to another organisation who do not reply and then when you eventually get them they do not cover your area. Found a local man who repairs such items but he could not find out what was wrong. So I accept things fail but when you can't get them repaired it is really frustrating and expensive. So I am now looking for a new dehumidifier from another manufacturer with proper aftersales!

I got this to try an experiment, it worked, on those very hot days camping it will run off a power pack for about 4 hours on full keeping the car nice and cool for the dogs, have now ordered another couple for the living room and kitchen, nice neat and compact and cooling

This fan is cheap and cheerful but for the money you should know what to expect. It arrived in one piece in 48 hours and while it is certainly not silent it is ideal for office use. Pity it requires 4 "C" batteries rather than the usual "AA" but it does represent decent value for money.

I use this to humidify the air as I live in a top floor flat and the air gets very dry with the central heating on, which makes my sinitus/congestion worse. The unit is very simple and easy to use - remove the plastic tank, fill it with water and plug it in. Steam comes out of it very quickly and it will noticeably add a good amount of moisture to a room within minutes. The unit has a water filter inside the tank to help prevent the heating element developing limescale which is a nice touch. If I did have some (constructive) criticism for the manufacturers of this unit, there is no variable setting - its either on or off with no setting in between. It would also be useful to have a "timer" setting, but I suppose to can buy a mains plug timer for ... Read More:
