Buying a Dyson saved the hassle of making shore you had some bags for your hoover as you didnt need any for it - which is great! So, when i saw this design (and knowing how good Dysons are at sucking things up) I just had to have it! Its funny how all the hoover companies who wouldn't except Dyson's designs immediately copied them when his hoover was selling like mad. The only problems with it would be just picking just like you can do with other hoovers. - I think this Vacuum Cleaner is the best I've ever bought (for the price it is definitely worth it!).

As other reviewers have said, Henry hoovers are pretty much indestructible. I am a clumsy oaf, so I should know. Coupled with his sturdiness, his tremendous reliability, huge capacity and gormless smile mean that Henry is truly the vacuum cleaner of the gods. He makes a great noise, too. I have a particular affection for these little fellows due to fond memories of my university friend Huw making a drunken attempt one night to exchange one of our college's Henries for a doner kebab at the local kebab van. Have used a Dyson DC01 for the past 15 years along with various other brands that came and went! DC25 arrived today (2 days after ordering it through Amazon!) and it is absolutely brilliant! It addresses all the issues I had with the DC01 which was best in its class at the time. The DC25 is light weight, has adequate capacity and deals with all types of floor at the flick of a switch. Firstly, I can't believe that people are giving this excellent machine such poor reviews! It's a hand-held vacuum cleaner and as such, isn't in the same league as your bigger Dysons, however, in my opinion, it holds its own rather well. It's fantastic for sucking up toast crumbs, excess toddler food, bits from the kitchen floor and cleaning up the car. It looks rather funky too and I often find myself posing around the house with it(!) If you've got other Dysons, the tools will more than often fit (the flexible crevice tool and the dusting brush certainly do.) It's great, it's easy to empty and I love it - highly recommended!

I needed a new vauum cleaner and have a springer spaniel who does moult constantly. I also have 4 month old twins so cleaning ability and cleanliness were top of my list of priorities. I read the previous reviews and decided to order the DC25-Animal. It arrived the next day (great service)and was very easy to assemble. I had hoovered yesterday so was not expecting to see much. Oh my goodness - I filled the collecting box with only the hall, dining room and sitting room. It made me feel quite queasy that all that hair and dust was there on what looked like a clean carpet. The machine is light, quiet, and easy to manoeuvre, with no doggy vacuum smells. Seemed expensive but I am so glad I went for this product.

I wondered how any product could be so good that it has so many 5 star reviews of it. I bought one and now I know. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it really well. When I first got it, I watched it cleaning and kept thinking "where's it going now?", it seems illogical at first but to be honest, who cares how it cleans so long as it does. There are some problems that you need to address first though. I live in a bungalow so I let it clean the whole area, unfortunately, if you don't wedge all the doors open, it can trap itself in a room. I've also found it wedged on the feet of a particular piece of furniture. On the plus side, it never moans, doesn't gossip, drink or miss bits through forgetfulness. This is a great cleaner, no more sneezing or blocked up nose thanks to the washable HEPA filter (with an extra supplied as spare). The vacuum head isn't quite of a low enough profile to get underneath cupboards without swapping for another attachment, but this is a minor gripe. The slinky stretchable stair hose is a great idea and the amount of fine dust this cleaner picks up is amazing. The fuse needed re-seating in the moulded plug as the connections had somehow worked it loose, but after that everything worked fine. Very pleased with this purchase!

I bought this for the office, as a quieter alternative to a vacuum cleaner. It does a great job, is light to handle and very easy to use. It arrived extremely quickly too. Highly recommended.

I have no doubt that i could have saved myself a LOT of money over the years. I've been through quite a few vacum cleaners and all i've ever wanted was a vacum cleaner that did what it's meant to do...clean thoroughly and not lose suction after 5 minutes. Henry does all that and more. it's made cleaning a much more enjoyable chore and i particularly like the extra long cord which means that i don't keep moving the plug about. A top product and i'm amazed that it doesn't receive more advertising like some of the other well known (but not as high performing) brands!
