complete waste of time. I've had electric blankets all my life, i don't like getting into a cold bed. unfortunatley my usual blanket stopped working after having it for years and i recently purchased this brand. However i returned it the day after. after plugging the blanket in to test it, 5 hours later and the bed was not warm on the higest setting, luke warm i would say if that. no point even having this blanket. it seems if you buy a washable blanket you get less wattage and therfore less heat. go for an electric blanket with more wattage and you will have a warm nighs sleep. i rate the 1st setting for a blanket as on all night and usually no.3 as burn your bum setting (as in quick heat but not all night). this blanket does not get warm in ... Morphy Richards Double Heated Underblanket 75148 Not very big for a double ok if you are a Dwarf,extra foot warmth couldnt see any difference, you need to bring your knees up to get your feet warm,it says you can wash and tumble dry on the information page, on the one i recieved it said sponge only. Don't buy this one as you might be disapointed.

What the hell? Are all electric blankets designed for children under 5? No wonder they don't publish the dimensions. (Although they do for some "doubles" so I could have checked that). But doubles rotated 90 deg are still not long enough, they would either leave my feet unheated or wouldn't be able to preheat the pillow. Heads & feet are the only 2 parts that need the extra heat! On the plus side, it is reversible so the power cord can be put where you want, and I couldn't feel the wires through one sheet layer, which is why I'm not giving it 1 star. Overall it is good quality, but just so damn small. I might have to buy a second one...

As I have an old version of this and it's been very useful/excellent, I have bought many of this product recently. However, ALL OF THEM do not work properly. They heat up for a while but they stop heating at all. I don't recommend purchasing this product. You'd better buying a heat pad with another make.
