These candle immitating lights are great, when i first turned them on (which can sometimes take more then 1 tilt to the side..) i was a little unimpressed, the effect seemed to fake, and the whole thing looked a bit wrong, BUT after a few hours of having them on, i love them! I keep worrying about burning myself on them in fact! (of course they're stone cold to the touch!) brilliant! 4 stars because of initial thoughts and slightly fake looking light effects

I was recently given a sun jar as a birthday present and I love it. It sits in my front window, which gets the sunlight during the day, and many of my neighbours have said how cosy it is to see it glowing away there after dark! I am planning to get one for the back garden now as well, and a couple more as Christmas presents.

I bought this product whilst in university halls of residence, which weren't the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in! The Philips living colours light transformed my room into a colourful and relaxing place. The one problem is that it's so simple it can't really do anything, you can choose your colour, intensity and brightness (which can create some amazing effects) or you can choose to have it run through all the colours with a handy 'demo' mode (found by holding the on switch for a few seconds) but this is set at one brightness (the brightest - not good for going to sleep to!) Overall, a great product! Would definitely buy one again!

Unlike the above customer the ball arrived just 3 days after ordering. The plasma ball however, was not designed for the UK so a 240v to 120v convertor was also supplied to fit with the 12v ac adapter that came with the unit. I had to also dismantle the base as the circuit board was not attached correctly. The product works fine, but think the seller should have indicated that the product is not a UK device and so may not meet with certain standards. The image shown is not exactly the product I received, as the base is completely black. I'm completely happy with the operation of the ball, and it will be taking up residence in my teenage son's bedroom.
