I am so pleased I chose the Tefal Express Diamond kettle. I just love this kettel,it looks nice it's comfortable to hold, and I like the way the lid opens to fill it, it sits on it's stand easily and it boils in the nick of time, if I had one gripe and it's only a little one, it a bit noisy but I can live with that. Used for over a month and tea and coffee still taste horrible.Awaiting response from Morphy Richards. Interestingly not everyone seems to be able to detect the metallic taste, my wife who is very sensitive to milk on the turn when I think it's ok, didn't believe me about the horrible taste until visitors started complaining! This product should be withdrawn.

Nice looking kettle with a good lid. It does take a while to switch off when boiling so don't position it under a unit as the steam will cause damage. I find it heavy when it's filled to MAX. but I'm only 5'1".

An excellent item. Very good quality. Only gripe is that the cups are tiny (about the size of an espresso coffee cup) so you'll have to get some mugs!

I was looking for a simple, no frills kettle to replace our very old one. Having read some of the previous reviews, I decided that this one was way better than others - quick, "nicely balanced", "easy to fill". Although I am still happy with it - it boils water, after all - I must say that I do not agree with some of the reviewers. My wrists might be wrong shape, but I do not find the kettle nicely balanced at all - it's awkward and heavy. It is not particularly easy to fill through the spout and the lid is stiff on my kettle. It is noisy and not very quick. Otherwise a nice, neat-looking kettle. We have had it for over a year and it's still working.

I bourght this kettle because I was sick of throwing away cheap kettles after six months and this looked amazing. To be honest after reading the reviews below I was a bit worried about what might be in store for me. So I emailed the manufacturer to enquire about these problems and they said there was an issue but they have recalled the effected products. I'v had this kettle since March and all seems to be going well! Great looking product

Bosch build a great-looking kettle, gracing any kitchen counter-top. We were really pleased with the design and the function of this kettle - easy to pour, boiled quickly, no problems with the metallic taste issue. But after 18 months, it suddenly started to leak gently at all the seams - a crust of limescale appeared at each seam around the base and either side of the handle. Now it's puddling water from the base, and we're looking for another model. Wouldn't you expect a kettle to last longer than this?

I'm very pleased with this kettle. It's very quiet, and it actually BOILS for a few seconds, unlike many others which barely reach the boil before clicking off. The spout is wide, so it's easy to fill from this area, and the whistle is subtle. Once the water is switched on to boil the blue illuminated panel glows softly. The kettle is fairly heavy once filled, but also stable. All in all it's the best kettle I've bought in a long while.

Had to return kettle for a refund after 6 weeks, as the removable water filter went very rusty.

like the previous review says you cant go wrong with a kenwood a well designed and sturdy kettle.Very fast boil,elegant looking exactly what you would expect from a good quality kettle.Nice mirror finish on the kettle looks good in any kitchen.
