We saw a similar product on holiday in Turkey, so I sought out these Philips LED Rechargeable Candle Lights on my return last year and shall be buying them for others as Christmas gifts this year. They look so pretty when "lit". You literally just turn them upside down to turn on or off. Great idea if you like candles but have children around.

I bought this iron about six months ago and it has worked perfectly since day one. The range of steam settings offers good incremental positions and the no steam setting can be selected with one small movement of the slide. The shape of the face plate seems to suit my shirt size(16)and I think my shirts have never looked better. I iron my shirts box flat when travelling for business or when I have limited space and a work colleague has now asked me three times if my shirt was new! The water reservoir is a bit small and does need refilling fairly frequently otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.

Good product - although it should be noted the finish is more brushed satin than chrome.

We originally bought this because we were fed up with having to blend soup in little batches in our normal jug style blender. I didn't think we'd use the accessories much, but a couple of months down the line and we've used them all. The jug is great for smoothies and its tupperware-like top makes the jug really useful in itself. The turbo boost is hardly ever necessary as the normal speed blends things in very little time. The fact that all the messy bits can go in the dishwasher is excellent. The only tiny complaint I'd have is that our dishwasher seems not to be able to clean right to the bottom of the jug, but I'm sure that's more to do with our dishwasher than the blender! I have had my Phillips GC8220 Steam System Iron for almost a year now. It was brilliant for the first few months or so but I noticed that the water tank was leaking. It started as a trickle and evenually the leak soaked through a well folded towel in next to no time. In my despair I sealed all the joints with stong adhesive glue. It did the trick and I am back ironing as happily as ever. Apart from the leak it does the job of ironing really well.

Great all round blender, a little noisy but in terms of looks and build quality it's excellent. No problems so far

Can't really complain for the money. Suppose it does what it says on the tin! A lot better made than similarly priced toasters that I've inspected at supermarkets etc. I was particularly concerned about the clasp that holds it closed as that's what broke on my last sandwich toaster. This one seems pretty good with two levels of grip for thicker or thinner bread/fillings. Seems well made, good quality and durable, although shiny plastic and brushed chrome, while good looking, might not be the best to clean when daubed with melted cheese and grease! I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

Nice looking kettle with a good lid. It does take a while to switch off when boiling so don't position it under a unit as the steam will cause damage. I find it heavy when it's filled to MAX. but I'm only 5'1".

I was looking for a simple, no frills kettle to replace our very old one. Having read some of the previous reviews, I decided that this one was way better than others - quick, "nicely balanced", "easy to fill". Although I am still happy with it - it boils water, after all - I must say that I do not agree with some of the reviewers. My wrists might be wrong shape, but I do not find the kettle nicely balanced at all - it's awkward and heavy. It is not particularly easy to fill through the spout and the lid is stiff on my kettle. It is noisy and not very quick. Otherwise a nice, neat-looking kettle. We have had it for over a year and it's still working.
