I bought this, like many others I'm sure, on Delia's recommendation in her Cheat recipe book. It has been in almost daily use in my kitchen since the moment it arrived, about six months ago, so I thought I would add a review based on my experience. It is small - very small, so doesn't take up nearly as much space on the kitchen counter as having a food processor sitting there. It is very easy to take apart, clean and put back together again - these things are really essential for a kitchen machine being used as often as this one will be! Most importantly however, it really does what it says on the box really well. It chops things. Quickly, evenly, finely (if you press the button down for a longer period of time) coarsely (if you just press ... Read More:

This is a lovely looking compact food processor with many uses. I use mine for cakes, chopping, grating and other. Ideal for making cakes and would be good for pureeing food too. Great for chopping veg finely, was going to get the chopper recommended by Delia, but glad I got this with a few more uses. Stores well in a kitchen cupboard. I normally do wash all parts in the dishwasher.

Only gave 4 star as perhaps a little small for some uses, same as other reviewers had to separate and do a larger cake in two. Also not so sure of the durability of the bowl and the lid, especially clicking it into place on the machine.

Looks good in the kitchen. Very easy to use. Lots of gadgets which seem to all get packed away for storage. I use this machine every day. Absolutely love it. Though beware of sharp cutting blades. Whilst drying up ready for first use, blade cut thro tea towel and ended up with cut thumb.

Having a shoulder injury, I am unable to knead bread. I thought the dough hook would do this for me, but if i leave the machine kneading for more than 30 seconds, it jumps all over the place and smells like the motor is burning out. Also the dough ends up tangled all over the inside of the machine and is very difficult to get out and to clean off.
When chopping veg, the cutter pulls through full pieces of cabbage without chopping. Carrots go to mush. I have reverted to using a hand grater.

Kenwood FP108 300W compact food processor

We've just spent an entertaining hour or so assembling this mixer.

The instruction manual is hopelessly non-sequential, and the print is as miniscule as ... oh, War & Peace on the back of a matchbox.

The kitchen resembles the sort of thing when you suggest the children have fun doing a bit of baking & pop out for five minutes.

The good news seems to be that it mixes efficiently, although we haven't eaten the results yet.

I'm sure it's a good mixer, but unless you have miraculous eyesight and infinite resources of patience and never row, I'd treat it with caution.

Simon (and Jean who is now lying down) from London.

I spent ages trying to decide which food processor to buy. I looked at the Which reviews and then couldn't decide between the Kenwood FP920 MultiPro and the FP905 MultiPro. For the price I think this is an excellent machine. Easy to operate, excellent chopping, grating, mixing, whipping, whisking, quiet, stable, excellent results and easy to clean. I have yet to use the kneeding attachment and liquidiser. However fresh bread and soup are on the menu tomorrow. Love it!!. My only dissappointment is that the recipe book does not contain enough recipies and I have just discovered that it is £10 cheaper today.
