The difference is in the design with this Dyson. You just have to see the detail. It's vastly superior to any other handheld. In fact, from Dyson's own website, I can buy any part, and make a whole new machine myself and without having to pay for costly repairs. Yes, it's great that it turns on automatically when it detects motion but why oh why could Philips not gone the extra yard and made it disable itself when it's not dark??? It comes on all day long regardless of the ambient light and wastes the batteries!

I bought this in January and although I did use it a couple of times a week, this really is not up to the job. It's now broken. In fact it broke about a month ago. I put up with the oily smell that others had commented on but thought it would go. It didn't really. This time I'm going to buy a Kenwood as this one lasted for years and never complained about the amount of mixture! Don't buy it!!

I have owned my Roomba for about 6 months now. I was initially very impressed at the idea of having my floors cleaned automaticlly. However it is somewhat high maintenance in that the brushes and especially bearings need defluffing very regularly and the dust container is small and needs emptying regularly. The rotary brush is quite fragile and ours needed replacing quite soon after we bought it as something got caught on it. If you have small children who leave things on the floor then it is no good at all as the said small objects will either be "eaten" or get clogged in the system and stop Roomba working. It is really good for cleaning under bedsteads. Probably OK if you are able to keep you floors clutter free!!

Great wee gadget! It even has a built in light which is handy as a night light in the hallway, strong power and looks good too. For this price you can't go wrong!

I bought one of these kenwood co606 crome can openers for my mother she is in her late 80is and has bad athritic hands this has made her life so much easier.It has no problem with corned beef tins the magnet works well great bottle opener and knive sharpener. I would highly recomend this can opener for people with hand problems and i now have got one myself. very fast delivery from amozon came within 3 days

I'm afraid some reviewers have missed the point with this device, ok, if you can reach the switches easily, then that isn't a problem, but for so many of us having all the wiring, sockets etc tucked out of the way like mine, then this is a godsend! Turn your PC on and 5 seconds later all the peripherals are on, no problem. I'm definately getting one for the TV etc next. Hope this is of some use.
