Just received the new Dyson CD25 'Ball,' the Super Saver Delivery service is quick. I placed the order on Friday afternoon & by Saturday 10am (less than 24 hours), I had used the Dyson to great success. Easy to follow instruction for the assembly of the main handle to the body of the unit. Plain English manual to fully learn how to use the 'Ball' to best effect. It's incredible considering two days ago I had used my 'old' vac to clean the hallway, this little baby goes further than expected. Talk about suction power & ease of use. Dyson DC24 Allfloors - The Dyson Ball Upright Vacuum Cleaner - Iron Satin Yellow What a great little machine, compact, efficient, light, great design and styling. Have had Dysons for years and no problems so far. This machine really wins in the weight stakes, it's light and easily carried upstairs by myself and my wife. She loves it and it stows away much better than our our old machine. Best of all it's British, showing we can still lead the world, in some things at least.

Difficult to imagine how inefficient my other vacuum cleaners were until I powered up this "beast"! The upright and the "wand" (the cylinder-like hose attachment) both removed quite dramatic amounts of dirt, dust, fluff and detritus from what I had imagined was a clean carpet. I'm sitting staring in disbelief at the amount of stuff in the bagless dirt/rubbish container. I recommend this machine.

Amazon service amazing! I bought this product two days ago and it was delivered this afternoon. I put it together myself as it was so easy. I had avoided Dysons before as they are so expensive even though I had heard good reports about them. I really wish I had bought one earlier now! This machine is just superb. Not as noisy as my month old Vax which I really hated as it blows air at my face. Really easy to manouver. I love it!

My DC01 was beginning to show its age, and though it had never given any trouble in the 10 years I've had it, at the first excuse I persuaded myself that it was time to buy a new Dyson. (The 'excuse' was actually a loose (fixable) wire but Opportunity was knocking . . .) I knew that Dysons had obviously come a long way since the 01 but the DC14 All floors is a good Quantum Leap ahead in technology and performance. I expected it to be better, but not that much better! My carpet appears to be a different colour, the cat hairs have completely gone, it cleans up to the edges much more efficiently than the 01, and I find the machine itself extremely easy to handle and manoeuvre around the house. Bought this and took it back after one day - the main problem is that I am 5'10" and I found that the hose wasn't long enough for me, even when fully extended. I was getting back ache in just a few minutes due to leaning over because of the short hose. My other half is 6'3" so had more of a problem. The other issues are that I felt it was flimsy, that it didn't pick up too well on a carpet (tho good on hard floors) and had a small capacity. We bought the Bosch BSG71266GB instead which is £50 cheaper and found it instantly better.

Good old Dyson. It's the lesser of all vacuuming evils. Having struggled with an LG for the last couple of years, I eventually caved in and bought the DC14 Origin. I had the original DC01 for 15 years and it served me well. The only reason I didn't buy another Dyson was cost, but other vacuums are false economy. I know people complain about Dysons losing suction after a few months, but they are still better than all the rest. This vacuum does exactly what it says on the tin. A good all round carpet vac.

We had a DC04 for many (at least 8 if not more) years and were happy with it. When we got 2 long-haired cats, however, it began to show its age and couldn't really keep up with the copious amount of hair they shed, so we invested in the DC14 Animal. The results have been amazing - haven't even had to use the special animal hair turbo head thingy, either, as the main upright cleaner does it all beautifully. We not only suffer from cat hairs, but also cat litter, from our indoor cats, and this machine certainly does NOT just flick the litter around (see negative review). It sucks it up beautifully, without leaving a trace anywhere. Just replaced a Vax Mach 5 (bought around 6 months ago)with this cleaner. I previously had a Dyson but foolishly decided to try another make which was supposed to live up to the performance of the Dyson for less money. This was a huge mistake. I am extremely happy again now I have a Dyson that does exactly what it's supposed to do! The suction is excellent and it is also very light and easy to use. You do get what you pay for!!

I ordered the Dyson DC22 Baby Animal on the 7th July and it arrived just a few days later, even thought I was in Jersey. Fantastic. We had owned an upright Dyson some years before but had since used a normal cylinder vacuum cleaner. I suffer from sinus problems and everytime I used our (old)cleaner my nose would block up and I would lose sense of taste and smell for the rest of the day. I decided enough was enough and that paying a bit more for a decent cleaner with quality filters would benefit my health and that of the rest of my family. My first impression of the Baby Animal was its size, which was small and compact. It wasn't too heavy either. This was exactly what we we looking for in our house with limited storage.
