Good product - although it should be noted the finish is more brushed satin than chrome.

Great machine. Bought as a present for someone who was more than particular about what a smoothie maker should do like juice... dance, sing etc... Spent hours looking at comments from others and ended getting this but was more than worried it would be a flop event though it had good reviews... Turns out reviews were spot on! I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

This is the worst blender I have ever owned. After about 2 weeks it started to leak through the bottom and all over the counter. Also cleaning it was a real pain. You have to take the whole thing apart which is a real drag. Do yourself a favour and don't buy this product. I will never buy another blender that has a pourer. All it adds is extra things to break and clean. At the end of the day who cares which part of the blender you pour from...

I have been using this for over a year up to 5 times per day, and have never had a problem with it. It is quite a large juicer, but the size and weight make it very sturdy for juicing;it doesn't jump about the worktop like some juicers do! Takes whole fruit without a problem, carrots and even raw beetroot not a problem for it. The juice is very clear, no "bits" in it and it gets all the juice out of everything you can throw at it! Easy to clean, throw it in the dishwasher, or rinses quickly under a tap. The only downside is that the spout is quite low, so need to use a low jug to "catch" the juice.It doesn't come with a receptacle for collecting the juice. Excellent value from a good brand.

tap broke after about 10 uses and was very difficult to clean- fruit gets stuck it the tap and reappears the next time its used.

I bought this as it is rated a 'best buy' by Which? And so I was a little disappointed but probably because I expected so much more! To be fair, it's so much better than my old one, very quickly making juice from fairly large apples (although we still have to cut up the larger ones). The juice is good but, contrary to one of the other reviews, there is still a fair amount (around 30%) left in the pulp (apples), which can take some squeezing to get the best yield (but it gets out so much more than the cheaper models, so fair's fair). I would say it took an hour to get 1.5 litres from a small bucket of apples but much of this time was cutting bad bits out of windfalls. Noise not an issue. The one star awarded is because it worked well for 3 weeks. After this, a vital part broke in half (tap retaining ring). I contacted R-H Customer (appalling)Service Dept to get a replacement part under warranty. This company's mantra is 'the customer is always wrong'. I was told that this part did not exist, although it was clearly shown on the user manual. I then sent the broken piece as evidence, and in a week, received a part back that does not even belong to that machine at all. I have since fashioned a locking ring from a brass threaded plumbing part, by machining it to fit.I seriously recommend that clients do not purchase this item unless they are competent DIY engineers. As for the'Customer Service Dept' - forget it - they are nothing less than a disgrace.

I then read Jason Vale's 'Slim 4 Life' which enthused me so much I'm away with the juicer again and I know I will be for the rest of my life. What I found hard about cleaning it I don't know. It takes me 15 minutes in the morning to make my Juice wash up and put everything away. How hard is that for a healthier happier life. It's an excellent juicer.I highly reccommend it. I did wonder about the philips juicer Jason Vale endorses but why change when this one ticks all the boxes.
