A super big heater, super big price, build and finish quality good and heating OK but maybe its my fault in that I bought a few of these hoping to replace central heating in a flat, and they are not proving to be flexible enough. Whilst both are set on timer, to get a manual over ride you have to crouch down, reach for your glasses, find a miniscule pin switch for going onto manual - not good for such a price. I put this question to Delongi and guess what - zero response. My search continues...... Maybe I should go for a new CH system..

This heats our room very quickly and is not drying but it creaks something awful when the thermostat shuts it off or I unplug it because its woken me up for the third or fourth time in a night.

This is a really excellent product. I've used many heaters, but none of them up to this standard - even one that I bought for £59.99 just 6 months ago. There are 6 heat settings, ranging from 1 (a slight heat) to 6 (a blazing inferno). Number 3, I find is the most comfortable and natural. Upon switching it on, you'll notice that the product makes a slight buzz. It's certainly not excessive, and doesn't disrupt listening to TV at a normal volume. The heater warms up a small/medium sized room very quickly - within around 5 minutes usually. Once your ideal temperature is reached, the heater will automatically switch itself off thanks to the inbuilt thermostat. It will come back on if the temperature drops again. ... Read More:

This product is a tidy little number. Does what it says on the tin; heats with a fan. This fan mechanism is inherently slightly noisy, but as I use it to heat my room while I work, without having to turn on the whole house heating, it is fine. I can see that it might be an irritating noise if other people were working in the same room. £20 with super saver delivery and I'm a happy customer. Just missed out on the 5 star rating only owing to the noise (which isn't excessive).

This heater gives out a decent amount of heat BUT the thermostat is terrible. I've tried it in two rooms and can never find a setting which suits - its always too hot or too cold. The heat is always "on" or "off", there are no graduations inbetween. I am going to try a more expensive heater with proper climate control.

The 160W heater is poor to good, does give out fair heat but wont replace your car heater but may in time de-mist your windscreen. Better than the 200Watt heaters.

This is an excellent little heater. It was reccommended by a friend, and hasn't disappointed. It heats the room very quickly and keeps it at a nice even temperature, without appearing to be on the go all the time. As it's been mild-ish, we've not had to use the second heat setting yet, or even put it any higher than 3 out of 6 on the 1KW setting, so there's plenty more heat available for the chilly weather. We were going to get 2 heaters (our conservatory's four and a half by three and a half metres sq), but decided on 1 first, just in case it wasn't as good as we hoped it'd be, but are very glad we stuck to just one - it's going to be plenty powerful enough. I have to say the size is good.. I do like it.. The heat is not that as powerful as I thought. I only bought it because the running cost is low. I would recommand it for small rooms.
