Just received the new Dyson CD25 'Ball,' the Super Saver Delivery service is quick. I placed the order on Friday afternoon & by Saturday 10am (less than 24 hours), I had used the Dyson to great success. Easy to follow instruction for the assembly of the main handle to the body of the unit. Plain English manual to fully learn how to use the 'Ball' to best effect. It's incredible considering two days ago I had used my 'old' vac to clean the hallway, this little baby goes further than expected. Talk about suction power & ease of use. Dyson DC24 Allfloors - The Dyson Ball Upright Vacuum Cleaner - Iron Satin Yellow What a great little machine, compact, efficient, light, great design and styling. Have had Dysons for years and no problems so far. This machine really wins in the weight stakes, it's light and easily carried upstairs by myself and my wife. She loves it and it stows away much better than our our old machine. Best of all it's British, showing we can still lead the world, in some things at least.

...but at this price it's a steal. I bought this after considering hiring a machine until I realized I would have to do the whole house in a weekend and would probably kill myself in the process. My initial attraction was that it does hard floors too and as I have three cats cleaning the utility room and kitchen is a daily chore for me. I tried it there first with amazing results and used the hose attachment to do the corners and surfaces. Brilliant. It cleaned and sucked up any stray pet hairs leaving the kitchen remarkably clean. Difficult to imagine how inefficient my other vacuum cleaners were until I powered up this "beast"! The upright and the "wand" (the cylinder-like hose attachment) both removed quite dramatic amounts of dirt, dust, fluff and detritus from what I had imagined was a clean carpet. I'm sitting staring in disbelief at the amount of stuff in the bagless dirt/rubbish container. I recommend this machine.

After reading several reviews sites I decided to take the plunge. My old vacuum had just about had it. The Vax Mach 7 arrived within two days. Assembly is only two screws for the handle. I was using it within minutes. I found the noise level quite acceptable and the tools were adequate. Yes as others have said it's on the heavy-ish side, but I think that it gives it a reassuring feel of a solid well build machine. I was dismayed at the sheer amount of muck that started flying into the vacuum. Just goes to show you never know what's lucking on the floor. The only thing I would say is that there is too much suction when using the tools. The pipe tends to shrink because of the suction so you have to fight it out again. Vax V-124 Dual V Upright Carpet Washer Just bought this machine while it is about half price!What a bargain! I know November is not the ideal time to clean carpets but I couldnt wait. The machine is fabulous my carpets came up so clean & when I saw what had come out ---well!!With 2 dogs you can imagine. It is easy to operate - I would just advise to go easy on the "trigger" or the carpet gets too wet. Also quite heavy & very noisy & the carpets do remain damp but guess better to use on a nice warm sunny day! I am however delighted with the machine & recommend it - cheaper than professional prices!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and am not impressed. It replaces a 6 year old Dyson and does not perform anywhere near as well. It is so badly made when I was assembling it one of the plastic accessory holders broke off. It is also quite heavy to carry about & is not adept at picking up bits, it pushes them about the floor and leaves them behind when you change direction. It works moderately well on carpet but is pathetic on solid floors. Altogether a very disappointing purchase.

Amazon service amazing! I bought this product two days ago and it was delivered this afternoon. I put it together myself as it was so easy. I had avoided Dysons before as they are so expensive even though I had heard good reports about them. I really wish I had bought one earlier now! This machine is just superb. Not as noisy as my month old Vax which I really hated as it blows air at my face. Really easy to manouver. I love it!

this mop is amazing since buying this everyone i know has asked where they can get one. and they even do it for me. eco friendly too. so easy to use and does a very good job. dont know how anyone can give this a bad rating.

After years of Dysons and after each one swearing I'd never buy another I decided to buy this Vax. Looks impressive but fails to deliver. I find it does not pick up well on hard floors, it takes 3 times as long as before for an unsatisfactory result. Carpets are ok and the extension is good for cleaning the stairs. Hoovering with this is better than going to the gym as THIS HOOVER IS HEAVY when you are using on carpets. If you have any type of back problem I would avoid this hoover. I dislike this hoover with a passion and am contemplating buying a different one as a result. Come back Dyson, all is forgiven.
