Living in London again I was reminded of the dirty air, stinging eyes and sore nose but the last straw came when I went to clean my window sill and found it thick with London soot from the nearby Tube and car exhaust pollutant and other nasty particulates. Bought this model and it arrived today, looks good!.. plugged it in and within minutes I absolutely noticed my eyes stopped stinging and my nose wasnt sore.. switched it off later only to find my eyes started stinging again and I started to sneeze half an hour later!! I think I will have this thing on permenantly.. Go for it, you wont be sorry

This does make a difference to the room and freshens it up but it is quite loud, like a big fan on setting two or three, and it definatley makes me thirsty.

Smart looking, easy to use, works great too with the added bonus of a small amount of heat generation which takes the chill off on a cool night - if you dont have the central heating on. Running costs appear to be around 3 to 4 pence an hour so a lot cheaper than putting a heater on!. Could be a problem in summer but ideal for all the other seasons.

I use this to humidify the air as I live in a top floor flat and the air gets very dry with the central heating on, which makes my sinitus/congestion worse. The unit is very simple and easy to use - remove the plastic tank, fill it with water and plug it in. Steam comes out of it very quickly and it will noticeably add a good amount of moisture to a room within minutes. The unit has a water filter inside the tank to help prevent the heating element developing limescale which is a nice touch. If I did have some (constructive) criticism for the manufacturers of this unit, there is no variable setting - its either on or off with no setting in between. It would also be useful to have a "timer" setting, but I suppose to can buy a mains plug timer for that. ... Read More:

I was devastated when Goodsphere went into liquidation - the only fragrance I have ever really liked was Tioman. I was delighted when I saw that the Fresh Air Factory had therefore introduced this into their range. On buying it I found that it is nothing like the old goodpshere one - it is very, very weak - I ended up sticking about half a bottle in and still couldn't smell it. If anyone knows of anything which is like the goodsphere tioman, please let me know!
